ROUND 1: 3 ch, 2 tr in ring, 3 ch, * 3 tr in ring, 3 ch *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round, turn piece. ROUND 2: 3 ch, 2 tr in first ch-loop, 3 ch, 3 tr in the same ch-loop, * 1 ch, 3 tr in next ch-loop, 3 ch, 3 tr in the same ch-loop *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times and finish with 1 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round, turn piece. Place the squares as shown in diagram 1 with 4 squares horizontally and 5 rows vertically. Crochet the squares tog with Paris as shown in diagram 2 - first crochet the squares tog vertically and then horizontally. CROCHET BORDER: Crochet a border with ch-loops round the whole blanket with Paris and crochet hook size 3.5 mm as follows: 1 dc in ch-loop in the corner, * 6 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop *, repeat from *-* and finish with 6 ch and 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round. |
