Hello. My problem with Cotton light is that even I am still knitting it's looks like it had been already worn. Tiny bolls everywhere...I keep my project in separate bag while I am not working on it.... The instructions are perfect. So I wish to make it from different yarn . Thank you.

Hej Marianne. Umiddelbart tror jeg ikke der er en maaleskitse til denne, men jeg har spurgt om det er noget vi har. Ellers kan jeg kun anbefale at gaa efter de maal der er opgivet i opskriften.

Hi, I have a question: I started knitting these pretty shorts. But I amwondering whether it is not way too long... It already measures 19cm and now I have to knit an additional 18cm to take up 9x4 stitches. I'm afraid the shorts will end under my niece's breast. Can I shorten these 18cm? How many stitches in which rythm do I have to take up? Thanks for your help! Best regards, Petra

Dear Mrs Wagner, it's a high waisted desigh, you can make your own adjustment if you rather want the waist to be less high. Happy knitting!

When piece measures approx. 6 cm, switch back to circular needle size 3 mm. K 1 round while AT THE SAME TIME inc 14-20-24-32-38 sts evenly = 160-176-188-208-228 sts (NOTE! Work back and forth as follows (from RS): 1 st in GARTER ST - see explanation above -, 2 sts in stocking st, 1 st in Garter st. Continue like this until same no of rows has been worked as no of rounds on rest of the piece. Slip the sts back on a stitch holder. When all the sts on the stitch holders have been worked this way, continue to work as follows: Work rib over the first 17-25-21-21-21 sts, * work next st and 1st st from stitch holder P tog, work next st and 2nd st from stitch holder K tog, work next st and 3rd st from stitch holder K tog and work next st and last st from stitch holder P tog *, work 20-20-24-28-32 sts in rib, repeat from *-*, work 20-20-24-28-32 sts in rib, repeat from *-*, work 20-20-24-28-32 sts in rib, repeat from *-*, work 20-20-24-28-32 sts in rib, repeat from *-*, work 20-20-24-28-32 sts in rib, repeat from *-*, work 16-24-20-20-20 sts in rib, repeat from *-* (NOTE! the last st = 1st st on round). Cut the thread. Then work 9-10-11-12-13 cm in stocking st back and forth over the 10 sts on the needle for gusset. Cast off the 10 sts and sew them to the 10 sts that were cast off mid back. LEG: Slip the 88-96-102-112-122 sts from one of the stitch holders back on circular needle size 3.5 mm. Knit in addition up 20-22-24-26-29 sts along one side of the gusset = 108-118-126-138-151 sts. Continue to work stocking st in the round for approx. 8-8-9-9-10 cm. Switch to circular needle size 3 mm. Then work 6 rounds in Garter st. Then loosely cast off. Slip sts from the other stitch holder back on needle and work as on first leg. BELT: Cast on 14-14-14-16-16 sts on circular needle size 3 mm with Cotton Light. Work in GARTER ST - see explanation above - back and forth until belt measures approx. 125 to 175 cm. Cast off. |
