This blanket is not the blanket shown in the picture. We are instructed to start with white, knit four rows of two ridges, and then rainbow 1.A. The entire row ends with 164 stitches, even though we started with 202 stitches. The picture shows a straight bias. Not a bias that shrinks and grows. With 1.A, 1.B and 1.C, the centers do not match the middle. In the pictures all the ridges match. Where does the black yarn come in?

Dear Emily, the black yarn you can see on top of the blanket belong to the printed colours of fabel colour 921. Happy knitting!

When I knit over 1.A, 1.B & 1.C. I thought no problem the stitches will follow. They don't. So I unknitting half a row. Just going to follow the pattern. There are a lot of incomplete instructions. For example 1.A, 1.B, 1.C it is never stated 1 all in same row. Why is 1.C shown before 1.A? Perhaps lost in translation?
11.03.2025 - 19:53DROPS Design answered:
Dear Emily, for this blanket you should first work the 2 rows on A.1 over all stitches, so work: 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, repeat the 20 sts A.1 a total of 8-10 times and end with 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. Then when the last row in A.1 is done, work now A.2 the same way (there are now 18 sts in each A.1 to work A.2): 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, then repeat the 18 sts in A.2 a total of 8-10 times and end with 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. Repeat A.2 until measurements, then work A.3 over all stitches (with 1 edge stitch on each side). Happy knitting!

VG
09.12.2024 - 08:06DROPS Design answered:
Liebe Barbara, in die 2. Grösse brauchen Sie 100 g DROPS Fabel in beiden Farben, so insgesamt 2 Knäuel Farbe Nr 100 + 2 Knäuel Farbe Nr 921.

02.11.2024 - 19:11DROPS Design answered:

Hej Helene, du stickar A.2 till färdigt mått :)

Pozdrawiam i dziękuję!

Pozdrawiamy!
