Könnte man diesen Pullover auch mit langen Ärmeln Stricken? Wie würde sich dann die Anleitung verändern? Dankeschön!

Hi Marieka, you can make longer sleeves. How to shape the sleeves depends on the type of sleeves you like: stright sleeves are without any decreases, narrower sleeves need some decreases. You may also ask for help at the store you buy the yarn. Happy knitting!

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- RAGLAN: Increase 1 stitch by making 1 yarn over, which is worked as follows on the next round: BEFORE RAGLAN-STITCHES: Slip the yarn over off the left needle and replace it the other way round (insert the left needle through the back when replacing it). Knit the front loop to avoid a hole. Then work the new stitch in stocking stitch. AFTER RAGLAN-STITCHES: Knit through the back loop to avoid a hole. Then work the new stitch in stocking stitch. SLEEVE TIP: When knitting up stitches under the sleeve, you can get a small hole in the transition between stitches on the body and sleeve. This hole can be closed by picking up the strand between 2 stitches and working this strand twisted together with the first stitch between body and sleeve. DECREASE TIP: Decrease 1 stitch on each side of the marker-thread as follows: Work until there are 3 stitches left before the marker-thread, knit 2 together, knit 2 (marker-thread sits between these 2 stitches), slip 1 stitch knit-wise, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch (2 stitches decreased). ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- JUMPER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The pattern uses both long and short needles; start with the length which fits the number of stitches and change when necessary. The neck and yoke are worked in the round with circular needle, top down and from the right back shoulder. When the yoke is finished, it is divided for the body and sleeves and the body continued in the round, while the sleeves wait. The sleeves are worked top down, in the round. If there is a «0» in your chosen size, skip the information and go straight to the next instruction. NECK: Cast on 88-88-96-104-104-112-112 stitches with circular needle size 3.5 mm and DROPS Alpaca Bouclé. Work rib in the round as follows: Knit 1, * purl 2, knit 2 *, work from *-* until there are 3 stitches left, purl 2 and knit 1. Continue this rib for 3-3-3½-3½-4-4-5 cm. The round begins on the right back shoulder. Insert 1 marker after the first 32-32-34-38-38-40-40 stitches (approx. mid-front), the piece is measured from here. YOKE: Change to circular needle size 5 mm. Insert 4 markers, without working the stitches, and each marker inserted between 2 stitches. These 2 stitches are the raglan-stitches and you increase for raglan on each side of these 2 raglan-stitches. Insert marker-1 at the beginning of the round, count 20-20-20-24-24-24-24 stitches (= sleeve), insert marker-2 before the next stitch, count 24-24-28-28-28-32-32 stitches (= front piece), insert marker-3 before the next stitch, count 20-20-20-24-24-24-24 stitches (= sleeve), insert marker-4 before the next stitch, there are 24-24-28-28-28-32-32 stitches left after the last marker (= back piece). Continue in the round with stocking stitch and increase for RAGLAN on each side of the raglan-stitches – read description above, as follows (remember to maintain the knitting tension):. ROUND 1: Knit and increase for raglan on each side of the raglan-stitches (= 8 increased stitches). NOTE: At the beginning of the round you increase after the first raglan-stitch (the first stitch on the round) and at the end of the round you increase before the last raglan-stitch (the last stitch on the round). ROUND 2: Knit (remember to work the yarn overs as described under RAGLAN). Work ROUNDS 1 and 2 a total of 10-13-11-15-19-16-20 times (20-26-22-30-38-32-40 rounds worked) = 168-192-184-224-256-240-272 stitches. Continue increasing as follows: ROUND 1: Knit and increase for raglan on each side of the raglan-stitches (= 8 increased stitches). ROUND 2: Knit (remember to work the yarn overs as described under RAGLAN). ROUND 3: Knit and increase for raglan on the front and back pieces, i.e., after markers 2 and 4 and before markers 3 and 1 – do not increase across the sleeves (= 4 increased stitches). ROUND 4: Knit. Work ROUNDS 1 to 4 a total of 6-5-7-5-4-7-6 times (24-20-28-20-16-28-24 rounds worked = 6-5-7-5-4-7-6 increases in height on the sleeves and 12-10-14-10-8-14-12 increases in height on the front and back pieces) = 240-252-268-284-304-324-344 stitches. All increases for raglan are finished. A total of 22-23-25-25-27-30-32 increases in height on the front and back pieces and 16-18-18-20-23-23-26 increases in height on the sleeves. Continue stocking stitch without further increases until the yoke measures 20-21-23-23-25-27-29 cm from the marker mid-front. Now divide for the body and sleeves. DIVIDE FOR BODY AND SLEEVES: When dividing, the raglan-stitches will end up slightly inside the front and back pieces. Knit the first 2-3-2-4-5-4-6 stitches (these stitches belong to the back piece), place the next 46-48-50-54-58-60-62 stitches on a thread for the sleeve, cast on 8-10-12-14-16-18-20 stitches (mid-under the sleeve), knit 74-78-84-88-94-102-110 stitches (= front piece), place the next 46-48-50-54-58-60-62 stitches on a thread for the sleeve, cast on 8-10-12-14-16-18-20 stitches (mid-under the sleeve), knit the last 72-75-82-84-89-98-104 stitches. The body and sleeves are finished separately. BODY: = 164-176-192-204-220-240-260 stitches. Insert 1 marker in the middle of the 8-10-12-14-16-18-20 cast-on stitches under one sleeve. Work to the marker, the round now begins here. Work stocking stitch in the round until the piece measures 42-44-46-47-48-50-52 cm from the marker mid-front. Change to circular needle size 3.5 mm. Work rib (knit 2, purl 2), AT THE SAME TIME increase 28-32-32-36-40-44-48 stitches evenly on the first round = 192-208-224-240-260-284-308 stitches. When the rib measures 3-3-3-3-4-4-4 cm, cast off a little loosely with rib. The jumper measures approx. 45-47-49-50-52-54-56 cm from the marker mid-front and 50-52-54-56-58-60-62 cm from the shoulder. SLEEVES: Place the 46-48-50-54-58-60-62 sleeve-stitches from one thread on circular needle size 5 mm and knit up 1 stitch in each of the 8-10-12-14-16-18-20 stitches cast on under the sleeve – read SLEEVE TIP = 54-58-62-68-74-78-82 stitches. Insert a marker-thread in the middle of the 8-10-12-14-16-18-20 stitches under the sleeve- the round starts by the marker-thread. Work stocking stitch in the round. AT THE SAME TIME, when the sleeve measures 2-2-2-2-2-2-0 cm from the division, decrease mid-under the sleeve – read DECREASE TIP as follows: Decrease 2 stitches every 2-2-2-2-2-2-0 cm a total of 2-2-2-2-1-1-0 times = 50-54-58-64-72-76-82 stitches. Continue working until the sleeve measures 16-16-13-14-12-10-9 cm from the division. Change to double pointed needles size 3.5 mm. Work rib (knit 2, purl 2), AT THE SAME TIME increase 6-10-10-12-12-16-14 stitches evenly on the first round = 56-64-68-76-84-92-96 stitches. When the rib measures 3-3-3-3-4-4-4 cm, cast off slightly loosely with rib. The sleeve measures approx. 19-19-16-17-16-14-13 cm from the division. |
