I love your knitted dish cloths but I struggle to read the diagrams. Is there any way of getting a written pattern please?

Dear Michelle, this is the only version of the pattern available , combining charts and written instructions; we don't make custom patterns. Here you can find a lesson on how to read our crochet diagrams: https://www.garnstudio.com/lesson.php?id=69&cid=19. You can also ask us if there is a specific part of the chart that is giving you trouble. Happy crocheting!

Gracias!

Crochet pot-holder with puff stitches in DROPS Paris. Theme: Easter

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- CROCHET TIP FOR CHAIN STITCHES: If you work outermost on the hook the chain stitch will often be too tight; 1 chain stitch should be as long as 1 double crochet/treble crochet is wide. PATTERN: See diagrams A.1, A.2 and A.3. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- POT-HOLDER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked back and forth. Work 1 pot-holder in each colour. POT-HOLDER: Work 33 chain stitches with hook size 4.5 mm and Paris – read CROCHET TIP FOR CHAIN STITCHES in explanations above. Turn and work 1 treble crochet in the 4th chain stitch from the hook (= the 3 chain stitches replace the first treble crochet on the row), work 1 treble crochet in each of the remaining 29 chain stitches on the row = 31 treble crochets. Work according to diagrams A.1, A.2 and A.3 as follows from the right side: A.1 over 2 stitches, A.2 until there are 2 stitches left (= 9 times in width) and diagram A.3 over 2 stitches. Work according to diagrams A.3, A.2 and A.1 as follows from the wrong side: A.3 over the first 2 stitches, A.2 until there are 2 stitches left (= 9 times in width; skip the puff-stitches) and work A.1 over the last 2 stitches. Continue by repeating the 2 rows in A.1-A.3 until you have worked 9 rows with puff stitches and the last row has puff stitches. Turn the piece and work a row with 1 treble crochet in each treble crochet from the previous row (puff stitches are skipped as before). Cut and fasten the strand. Fasten a leather cord or similar in one of the corners to give a loop you can hang the pot-holder up with. Work the second pot-holder in the same way. |
