Bon tricot !

GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows. 1 ridge = 2 rows K. PATTERN: See diagram A.1. Diagram shows all rows in pattern seen from RS. BUTTONHOLE: Dec for buttonholes on right band. 1 buttonhole = K tog third and fourth st from mid front and make 1 YO. Dec for buttonholes when piece measures: SIZE S: 16, 24, 32, 40, 48 and 56 cm. Size M/L: 16, 24, 32, 40, 49 and 58 cm. SIZE XL: 16, 24, 33, 42, 51 and 60 cm. SIZE XXL: 16, 23, 30, 38, 46, 54 and 62 cm SIZE XXXL: 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56 and 64 cm DECREASE TIP: Dec as follows from RS: Beg 3 sts before marker: K 2 tog, K 2 (marker is in the middle of these sts), slip 1 st as if to K, K 1, psso. KNITTING TIP: If knitting tension is incorrect in height and the knitting is too tight, the raglan dec will be too short and the armholes too small. This can be adjusted by working 1 extra row without dec evenly spaced between dec. -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- JACKET: Worked back and forth on circular needle from mid front. Cast on 184-212-240-268-296 sts (incl 5 band sts in each side) on circular needle size 4 mm. Work 3 ridges in GARTER ST - see explanation above. Continue in stocking st with 5 sts in garter st in each side. The 5 sts in garter st in each side = bands. Work bands in garter st until finished measurements. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Insert 2 markers in the piece; 48-55-62-69-76 sts in from each side (back piece = 88-102-116-130-144 sts). When piece measures 7 cm, dec 1 st on each side of markers, repeat dec every 3 cm 5 more times (6 dec in total) = 160-188-216-244-272 sts. AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures 16 cm, beg dec for BUTTONHOLES – see explanation above! When piece measures 28 cm, inc 1 st on each side of markers, repeat inc every 5-5-5½-5½-6 cm 3 more times (4 inc in total) = 176-204-232-260-288 sts. When piece measures 44-45-46-47-48 cm (next row = from WS), work in garter st over 8 sts in each side (= 4 sts on each side of marker in each side), work the remaining sts as before. When 4 rows in garter st have been worked over the 8 sts in each side, cast off these 8 sts for armholes on next row from WS (cast off with K from WS) = 160-188-216-244-272 sts. Piece now measures approx. 45-46-47-48-49 cm. YOKE: Work 1st row from RS as follows: Work over right front piece as before, cast on 48-48-55-55-62 new sts over the armhole, work in stocking st over back piece, cast on 48-48-55-55-62 new sts over the other armhole, work over left front piece as before = 256-284-326-354-396 sts. Work 1 row over all sts from WS as follows: Work in garter st over the middle 44-44-51-51-58 new sts for sleeves, work the other sts as before. Work 2 more rows the same way. Insert 1 marker in each side of the new sts for sleeve in each side (= 4 markers). READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SECTION BEFORE CONTINUING! Now work as follows from RS: 5 sts in garter st, A.1 - see explanation above - over the next 35-42-49-56-63 sts, 4 sts in stocking st (marker is in the middle of these 4 sts), P 2, A.1 over the next 42-42-49-49-56 sts, 4 sts in stocking st (marker is in the middle of these 4 sts), P 2, A.1 over the next 70-84-98-112-126 sts, 4 sts in stocking st (marker is in the middle of these 4 sts), P 2, A.1 over the next 42-42-49-49-56 sts, 4 sts in stocking st (marker is in the middle of these 4 sts), P 2, A.1 over the next 28-35-42-49-56 sts, finish with the first 5 sts in A.1 and 5 sts in garter st. Work 1 row with the same pattern. On next row from RS beg dec for raglan in each of the 4 transitions between body and sleeves (i.e. 8 dec per dec-row) - READ DECREASE TIP AND KNITTING TIP! Repeat dec every 4th row 2-3-2-3-2 more times, and every other row 12-11-15-14-18 times (15-15-18-18-21 dec in total). After all dec are done, 136-164-182-210-228 sts remain on needle. Work 2 ridges while AT THE SAME TIME on 1st row dec 0-10-16-28-34 sts evenly = 136-154-166-182-194 sts. Cast off. Sew the buttons on to left front piece. |
