When it says measure 16-18 cm from the top, does it mean that I measure from round 1? or should it be from round 12 (for L/ Xl) where we start to crochet 80 sc continuously? Thanks!
06.09.2023 - 12:33DROPS Design answered:
Dear Ting, piece should measure 16-18 cm from the very first round. Happy crocheting!

Come devo comportarmi ? Grazie

Můžete mi to prosím nějak popsat? Děkuji
16.01.2015 - 20:29DROPS Design answered:
Hana

Crochet DROPS hat with stripes in ”Paris”.
DROPS 136-21 |
|
CROCHET INFO: Replace first dc at beg of round with 1 ch. Finish every round with 1 sl st in first ch on round (= first dc). STRIPES: Work 1 round with every colour in the following order: * dark beige, light turquoise, white *, repeat from *-*. TIP: To get a nice transition between the colour changes, switch colour when picking up the thread in sl st at end of round as follows: Insert hook through ch at beg of round, pick up the new colour, pull the thread through ch and st on hook and continue next round with the new colour. CROCHET TIP: Do not cut the thread after every colour change but let the thread follow upwards on the inside of hat when working. -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- HAT: Crochet 4 ch on hook size 5 mm with dark beige Paris and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Read CROCHET INFO and CROCHET TIP! ROUND 1: Work 8 dc in ch-ring with dark beige while AT THE SAME TIME working STRIPES - see explanation above. ROUND 2: Work 2 dc in every dc = 16 dc. ROUND 3: * 1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 24 dc. ROUND 4: * 1 dc in each of the first 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 32 dc. ROUND 5: Work 1 dc in every dc = 32 dc. ROUND 6: * 1 dc in each of the next 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 40 dc. ROUND 7: * 1 dc in each of the next 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 48 dc. ROUND 8: * 1 dc in each of the next 5 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 56 dc. ROUND 9: * 1 dc in each of the next 6 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 64 dc. ROUND 10: * 1 dc in each of the next 7 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 72 dc. Inc in Size S/M are now done; continue in the round with 1 dc in every dc and stripes as before. ROUND 11 (Size L/XL): * 1 dc in each of the next 8 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 80 dc. Inc in Size L/XL are now done; continue in the round with 1 dc in every dc and stripes as before. Continue to work until the hat measures approx. 16-18 cm from the top and work last round with white. Work 1 more round with dc and white, cut and fasten the threads. |
