Bon tricot!

I have knit and yo I end up with 19 stitch in the first row would this be the five leave or. Can you. Make a video of this pattern
15.04.2020 - 14:41DROPS Design answered:
Dear Rokky, if you repeat (K1, YO, K1, YO) over the 10 stitches you should finish with 20 stitches at the end of first round. Make sure you have 10 yarn overs on this first round, ie 1 yarn over between each knitted stitch. Happy knitting!

Am trying to knit this hat but I don’t understand how the pattern is made when I cast on 10 stitches and divided the stitches I only get 3 leave do I need to cast on more than 10 stitch get five leave
14.04.2020 - 22:44DROPS Design answered:
Dear Rokky, the first row on the leave is worked over 2 stitches (round 1 = K1, yarn over, K1, yarn over) repeated a total of 5 times = 10 sts. Happy knitting!

What's the different between 1 YO and 1 YO between 2 sts?
18.11.2018 - 17:39DROPS Design answered:
Hi Gisele, in the next round, 1 YO between 2 sts is worked normally (not twisted)> there is a hole. All the remaining YOs are worked twisted in oder to avoid holes. Happy knitting!

What does this mean? M.1 (= 5 repeats across the round). I am a new knitter - I understand the M1 means add a stitch, but what does the 5 mean? Add 5 in each round?
12.10.2018 - 07:04DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Cleaver, M.1 refers here to the diagram (leaf pattern), you will repeat this diagram 5 times in the round and 1 time in height. Read diagram from the bottom corner on the right side towards the left on every round. Happy knitting!

Hello! I'm trying to knit a hat DROPS 126-26, and I've got a problem: when I knit the second half of the leaf and decrease the stitches on both sides of the leaf how can I make extra purle stitches that are shown on the rows that follow. I mean if there are decreases only after the second half of the leaf and no increases it is impossible to get the necessary number of the stitches at the end of the leaf. In fact I get two times less stitches as there should be.
23.03.2017 - 15:32DROPS Design answered:
Dear Irene, on the last 12 rows in M.1 you will dec every other round by P 2 tog first after K1 at the beg of the leaf, then at the end of the repeat. On next row, P this dec st as shown in diagram. There will be 2 sts less per repetition every other row due to the dec. Happy knitting!

Buon lavoro!
