Liebe Greta, die Markierung beim Handrücken soll man so verschieben: (alte Markierung), 2 Maschen, neue Markierung, 18-21 Maschen, neue Markierung, 2 Maschen (alte Markierung). Viel Spaß beim stricken!

Mittens: Knitting tension: 19 stitches x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm with needle size 4 mm and stocking stitch. Remember needle size is only a guide! Ridge/Garter stitch: 1 ridge = 2 rounds. Knit 1 round and purl 1 round. M.4: * 2 rounds stocking stitch, 1 round purl *. --------------------------------------------------------- Mittens: Numbers in () = men’s size. Cast on 42 (48) stitches with double pointed needles size 4 mm and off white and work garter stitch for 3 cm. On next round decrease 4 stitches evenly on round = 38 (44) stitches. Then work M.4 for 5 cm. After M.4 insert 3 marker threads as follows: 1 marker thread, 1 thumb stitch (stocking stitch), 1 marker thread (= in the side), 22 (25) stitches on top of hand, 1 marker thread (= in the side), 15 (18) stitches in palm. Continue with stocking stitch - piece measured from here. When piece measures 1 cm increase on each side of thumb stitch every 2nd round: 1 stitch x 5 = 48 (54) stitches. When piece measures 6.5 (7) cm place the middle 11 (11) stitches over thumb on a thread. Then on next round cast on 1 stitch over stitches on thread = 38 (44) stitches. When piece measures 15 (16) cm move marker threads in each side 2 stitches up onto hand (= 1 marker thread in each side). Then decrease as follows before marker threads: Slip 1 stitch, K 1, pass slipped stitch over the knitted stitch. Decrease as follows after marker threads: K 1, K 2 together. Decrease in each side a total of 2 (3) times on every 2nd round and then every round until there are 6 (4) stitches left on row. Pull a double strand through the remaining stitches, tighten and fasten well. Mitten measures approx. 27 (29) cm. Thumb: Knit up 15 (18) stitches around thumb and work stocking stitch. After 6.5 (7) cm knit stitches together 2 and 2 on next round, pull a double strand through remaining stitches, tighten and fasten well. Work another mitten. DROPS Hat: Knitting tension: 18 stitches x 24 rows with needle size 5 mm and moss stitch = 10 x 10 cm. Remember needle size is only a guide! Moss stitch: Rows 1+ 2: K1, P1. Row 3: Knit over purl and purl over knit. Row 4: Knit over knit and purl over purl. Repeat rows 1 to 4. Ridge/Garter stitch (in the round): 1 ridge = 2 rounds. Knit 1 round and purl 1 round Ridge/Garter stitch (back and forth): 1 ridge = Knit 2 rows Ear flap: Cast on 3 (3) stitches with double pointed needles size 5 mm and grey. Work garter stitch back and forth on needle. At the same time increase in each side inside the 1 edge stitch every 2nd row: 1 stitch x 10 (11) = 23 (25) stitches - piece measures approx. 8.5 (9) cm in height. Lay earflap to one side and work 1 more, remember to finish on same row of garter stitch. Hat: Cast on 19 (20) stitches between earflaps at back = 65 (70) stitches. Work back and forth on needle: 3 ridges over all stitches at the same time as you increase in each side every 3rd row: 1 stitch x 2 (2) = 69 (74) stitches. Now cast on 23 (26) stitches mid front = 92 (100) stitches on needle - TAKE CARE do not cast on stitches too tightly! Then work hat in the round and measure the piece from here. Work 1 ridge, then continue with moss stitch. When piece measures approx. 10 (11) cm (adjust to after round 1 or 3 of moss stitch) work 1 ridge and then knit 1 round at the same time as you decrease 14 (14) stitches evenly on round = 78 (86) stitches. Work 4 rounds moss stitch, 1 ridge and then knit 1 round at the same time as you decrease 6 (6) stitches evenly on round = 72 (80) stitches. Work 4 rounds moss stitch, 1 ridge and then knit 1 round at the same time as you decrease 8 (8) stitches evenly on round = 64 (72) stitches. Work 4 rounds moss stitch, 1 ridge and then knit 1 round at the same time as you decrease 6 (6) stitches evenly on round = 58 (66) stitches m. Work 4 rounds moss stitch, 1 ridge and then knit 1 round at the same time as you decrease 4 (4) stitches evenly on round = 54 (62) stitches. Work 4 rounds moss stitch, 1 ridge and then knit 1 round at the same time as you decrease 10 (10) stitches evenly on round = 44 (52) stitches. Work 4 rounds moss stitch, 1 ridge and then knit 1 round at the same time as you decrease 10 (10) stitches evenly on round = 34 (42) stitches. Work 4 rounds moss stitch, 1 ridge and then knit 1 round at the same time as you decrease 12 (12) stitches evenly on round = 22 (30) stitches. Work 4 rounds moss stitch, 1 ridge and then knit 1 round at the same time as you decrease 8 (10) stitches evenly on round = 14 (20) stitches. Size M/L: Work another 4 rounds moss stitch, 1 ridge and then knit 1 round at the same time as you decrease 6 stitches evenly on round = 14 stitches. Sizes S/M+M/L: Work 4 cm moss stitch over the 14 (14) stitches, pull a double strand through stitches, tighten and fasten well. Work a row of double crochets with hook size 4 mm at bottom of hat. Work cord as follows: 10 cm chain stitches, turn piece and work double crochets back on these 10 cm. Work 2 such cords of 10 cm and 1 cord of 5 cm. Fasten 10 cm cords onto tips of earflaps and the 5 cm cord to top of hat. Make 3 tassels as follows: Cut 16 strands of approx. ca 16 cm length, tie a strand (approx. 20 cm long) around the middle and fold all strands double at the tied middle strand, wind a new strand (approx. 25 cm long) 3 times around all strands approx. 1 cm down from middle, knot this strand and push it into the tassel and cut ends. Fasten a tassel in each cord. |
