Takakappaleen ohjeen alku on hyvin sekava, enkä ymmärrä pitääkö ensimmäisen pylväskerroksen jälkeen tehdä kaksi täyttä riviä A.1 ohjeen mukaan ja lisätä molempiin sivuihin silmukat ja vasta sen jälkeen aloittaa tuo A.4 mukainen +lisäykset yms. Vai tarkoittaako tuo että ensimmäisen pylväsrivin jälkeen tehdään 6 ensimmäisen silmukan ajan A.4 mukaan, sitten lisäys, sitten A.1 mukaan kunnes jäljellä 6 silmukkaa jne?
09.06.2024 - 19:54DROPS Design answered:
Hei, tähän ohjeeseen on tehty korjaus. Takakappaleessa virkataan mallivirkkausta ja samalla tehdään kädentien lisäykset näin: Muista VIRKKAUSINFO ja virkkaa mallivirkkausta. Tee SAMALLA kummassakin reunassa kädentien lisäykset. Virkkaa seuraavasti (1.kerros = oikea puoli): Virkkaa ensimmäisten 6 silmukan kohdalla mallivirkkausta piirroksen A.4 mukaisesti ja LISÄÄ 1 PYLVÄS (muista selitys yllä), virkkaa 1 pylväs jokaiseen pylvääseen, kunnes jäljellä on 6 silmukkaa, virkkaa viimeisten 6 silmukan kohdalla mallivirkkausta piirroksen A.5 mukaisesti ja LISÄÄ 1 PYLVÄS.

Working size M, the stitch count doesn't work for the back instructions. At row 1 there are 69sts, then Inc 1 both ends for 9 rows and both ends for 3rows, total increase is 18+6. Added to 69 stitches I have 93 sts but the pattern says it should be 99. Where have I gone wrong?
22.04.2024 - 17:07DROPS Design answered:
Hi Tina, You increase at the beginning and end of every row 9 times = 18 increased stitches. Then increase 2 stitches at the beginning and end of every row 3 times = 12 stitches. A total of 30 increases which leaves you with 99 stitches. Happy crocheting!

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- CHAIN STITCH: If you work outermost on the hook the chain stitch will often be too tight; 1 chain stitch should be as long as 1 treble crochet is wide. CROCHET INFORMATION: At the beginning of each row when working straps and body, work 3 chain stitches, which replace the first treble crochet on the row. At the beginning of each row when working the front and back pieces: work 4 chain stitches, which replace the first treble crochet on the row. NOTE: There is 1 more chain stitch when working front and back pieces due to increases for V-neck and armholes. PATTERN: The diagrams show all rows in the pattern from the right side. Remember to read the diagrams from left to right when working from the wrong side. See diagrams A.1 to A.8. Choose diagram for your size (applies to A.1). INCREASE 1 TREBLE CROCHET: Work 2 treble crochets in the 5th stitch from the side. INCREASE 2 TREBLE CROCHETS: Work 2 treble crochets in both the 5th and 6th stitch from the side/mid-front. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- TOP - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked back and forth, top down. The front pieces are worked first as far as the armholes, while increasing for both the armhole and the V-neck. The back piece is worked, while increasing for the armholes. After the armholes, the pieces are joined and the body worked back and forth to finished length. The straps are sewn to the back piece to finish. If there is a «0» in your chosen size, skip the information and go straight to the next instruction. RIGHT STRAP AND FRONT PIECE: Read the whole section before starting! Work 14-14-18-18-20-20 CHAIN STITCHES – read description above, with hook size 3 mm and DROPS Safran. Turn and work the first row from the wrong side as follows: 1 treble crochet in the 5th chain stitch from the hook, 1 treble crochet in all the other chain stitches = 11-11-15-15-17-17 treble crochets (= 10-10-14-14-16-16 treble crochets + 4 chain stitches). Read CROCHET INFORMATION and work PATTERN – read description above, working A.1 back and forth for 16-14-16-16-14-16 cm, with the last row from the wrong side. Continue as follows: ROW 1 (= right side): Work A.2 over the first 5 stitches and INCREASE 1 TREBLE CROCHET for the armhole – read explanation above, work 1 treble crochet in each of the next 1-1-5-5-7-7 treble crochets, work A.3 over the last 5 stitches = 12-12-16-16-18-18 stitches. ROW 2 (= wrong side): Work A.3, work 1 treble crochet in each treble crochet until there are 5 stitches left, work A.2 and increase 1 treble crochet for the armhole = 13-13-17-17-19-19 stitches. INFORMATION BEFORE CONTINUING: When you have worked 2-4-3-2-4-3 rows with increases for the armhole, continue these increases, AT THE SAME TIME as increasing for the V-neck mid-front. Read the next section before continuing. V-NECK: After the first 2-4-3-2-4-3 increases for the armhole, increase for the V-neck on each row as follows: INCREASE 2 TREBLE CROCHETS – remember description above, 8-8-9-12-12-13 times. ARMHOLE: Increase 1 treble crochet as before 6-5-7-10-9-6 more times (= a total of 8-9-10-12-13-9 times). Then INCREASE 2 TREBLE CROCHETS for the armhole – read explanation above, 2-3-2-2-3-7 times. When the increases for the V-neck and armhole are finished, there are 39-42-47-55-60-66 stitches. Work the last 2 rows as follows: ROW 1 (= right side): Work A.4 and increase 2 treble crochets, work 1 treble crochet in each of the next 0-3-0-0-1-3 treble crochets, work A.6A a total of 6-6-8-10-11-12 times, work A.6B, then A.5 over the last 6 stitches, increasing 2 treble crochets = 43-46-51-59-64-70 stitches. Cut and fasten the strand. LEFT STRAP AND FRONT PIECE: Read the whole section before starting! Work 14-14-18-18-20-20 chain stitches. Remember CROCHET INFORMATION and work A.1 back and forth for 16-14-16-16-14-16 cm, with the last row from the wrong side. Continue as follows: ROW 1 (= right side): Work A.2 over the first 5 stitches, work 1 treble crochet in each of the next 1-1-5-5-7-7 treble crochets, work A.3 over the last 5 stitches and INCREASE 1 TREBLE CROCHET for the armhole = 12-12-16-16-18-18 stitches. When the increases for the V-neck and armhole are finished, there are 39-42-47-55-60-66 stitches. Work the last 2 rows as follows: ROW 1 (= right side): Work A.4 and increase 2 treble crochets, work A.6A a total of 6-6-8-10-11-12 times, work A.6B, work 1 treble crochet in each of the next 0-3-0-0-1-3 treble crochets, then A.5 over the last 6 treble crochets and increase 2 treble crochets = 43-46-51-59-64-70 stitches. ROW 2 (= wrong side): Work A.5 and increase 2 treble crochets, work 1 treble crochet in each of the increased treble crochets, work A.6B, work A.6A a total of 6-6-8-10-11-12 times, work 1 treble crochet in each treble crochet until there are 6 stitches left, then A.4 over these stitches and increase 2 treble crochets = 47-50-55-63-68-74 stitches. Cut and fasten the strand. BACK PIECE: Read the whole section before starting! Work 68-72-78-84-92-100 chain stitches. Turn and work the first row from the wrong side as follows: 1 treble crochet in the 5th chain stitch from the hook, 1 treble crochet in all the other chain stitches = 65-69-75-81-89-97 treble crochets (64-68-74-80-88-96 treble crochets + 4 chain stitches). Remember CROCHET INFORMATION and work pattern, while increasing for the armholes on each side as follows from the right side: Work A.4 over the first 6 stitches and INCREASE 1 TREBLE CROCHET – remember description above, work 1 treble crochet in each treble crochet until there are 6 stitches left, then A.5 over these stitches INCREASING 1 TREBLE CROCHET. Continue this pattern back and forth and INCREASE 1 TREBLE CROCHET on each side for the armholes on every row (from both the wrong and right side) a total of 8-9-10-12-13-9 times (including the first increase), then INCREASE 2 TREBLE CROCHETS – remember description above, 2-3-2-2-3-7 times = 89-99-103-113-127-143 stitches. ROW 4 (= wrong side): Work A.8, then 1 treble crochet in each stitch until there are 6 stitches left, work A.7 over the last 6 stitches. Repeat ROWS 3 and 4 until you have worked a total of 6-6-6-8-8-8 rows on the body. Now work as follows from the right side: A.7, work A.6A until there are 9 stitches left, work A.6B and A.8. Work this pattern back from the wrong side. Work 6-6-6-8-8-8 rows with treble crochets and the bands as before, then work A.6 over the next 2 rows. Continue like this until A.6 has been worked a total of 3 times in height on the body. When A.6 is finished, continue back and forth with treble crochets and bands as before to finished length. AT THE SAME TIME on the first row, increase 8 treble crochets evenly spaced in all sizes = 223-239-259-283-311-343 stitches. Work until the piece measures 42-44-46-48-50-52 cm from the cast-on edge on the straps (body measures approx. 25-26-27-28-29-30 cm).
