Could you please explain how to join the star stitch in the round your video just shows how to do the star stitch on the back and forth method but trying to close in the round it leaves a hole
07.10.2014 - 19:51DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Kominek, a small hole may appear when working in the round, it will be less visible when edge is folded down, but you may sew a small st to make the holes smaller. Happy crocheting!

If I chain 29 I end up with 14 stars not 13...? Otherwise I have 2 chains leftover
26.09.2014 - 01:44DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Dunkley, you cast on 29 ch + 3 ch on first row = 31 - you then skip 1 st, pick up 1 st in each of the next 5 ch (= a total of 6 ch) to work 1st star + for each of the next stars, you will pick up then 2 sts from fundation ch (+ 3 sts from previous star) a total of 11 times (= 2 ch x 13 times = 26 ch) so that you used 6 ch + 26 ch = 32 ch as you started with and there is a total of 14 stars. Happy crocheting!

In Foot, it says "Work every sc in back loop of sc on round below" -- Does that mean only Round 1 or all of the rounds?
10.09.2014 - 03:17DROPS Design answered:
Dear Anda, it applies to all the rounds under "Foot". Happy crocheting!
