Bonjour.

Bon tricot!

GARTER ST (in the round on circular needle): * K 1 round and P 1 round *, repeat from *-*. GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows. 1 ridge = 2 rows K. PATTERN: See diagram A-1 for zigzag pattern, A-2 for dec and A-3 for stripes. 1 repetition = 19 sts in width. ---------------------------------------------------------- HAT: Worked in the round. Cast on 100 sts on circular needle size 4 mm with 1 thread black Big Fabel or 2 threads Fabel. Work rib = K 2/P 2 for 7 rounds. Change to needles size 5 mm. Then K 1 round while at the same time dec 5 sts evenly = 95 sts. Continue with zigzag pattern according to A-1 and stripes according to A-3. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When piece measures 17 cm (adjust after 2nd row in A-1), work and dec according to A-2, continue stripes as before. When A-2 has been worked, there are 15 sts on needle. Cut the thread and pull it through the remaining sts and tighten tog. The hat measures approx. 24 cm vertically. ---------------------------------------------------------- SCARF: Worked back and forth on needle. Loosely cast on 50 sts on needle size 5.5 mm with black.
