I am sorry I am finding this pattern confusing, but it appears to be knit in the round - but when it says to bind off on each side for the armholE - where are the sides? And only 1 armhole?
07.02.2020 - 21:00DROPS Design answered:
Dear Linda, the sweater is knitted on the round until the armholes, then you separate the stitches (half of the stitches are the fron, and half of the stitches are the back, and decrease to shape the armholes on both sides of the front (and both sides of the back). Happy Knitting!

As I continue increasing 2 stitches mid arm on the sleeve, the midpoint keeps moving. Should I continue increasing at the end of the third row, or find the new midpoint and increase there?
27.09.2018 - 01:14DROPS Design answered:
Hi Gracie Ella, The increases mid under sleeve should be on either side of the middle stitch so that the mid-point top of sleeve does not change. You increase before the mid stitch (at end of round) and after mid stitch (beginning of next round). Happy knitting!

Thank you for your help. The pattern confuses me as small details are omitted (assumed knowledge), but so far so good.

Hi again, Still trying to figure out the armhole. Starting with 96 stitches (192 divided by 2), if I cast off 4 on each side for the armhole, that leaves 88 stitches, not 92. Then if I cast off 4 more on each side following the instructions, that leaves 80 stitches, not 84. I don't know what to do.
05.07.2018 - 19:49DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Ella, you start with 192 sts and cast off 4 sts on each side for each armhole = 192-8= 184 sts / 2 = 92 sts for front and back piece. Then cast off at the beg of each row on each side (both from RS and WS): 2 sts 1 time and 1 st 2 times = 4 sts are now cast off on each side: 92-8= 84 sts remain. Happy knitting!
06.07.2018 - 08:23Gracie Ella wrote:
When binding off to shape the armhole on every other row, does that mean shaping is only happening on one side? Or, does that mean I bind off on one side and knit two together twice on the other side, then complete the WS row and do it again on the RS row?
03.07.2018 - 02:21DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Ella, you should cast off the same number of sts on each side, ie cast off at the beg of each row on each side (= both RS and WS rows): 2 sts 1-2-4 times and then 1 st 2-3-2 times = 4-7-10 sts have been cast off on each side = 84 sts remain in all sizes. Happy knitting!
