Hello, I am not sure how to read your Diagram A1. Would you be able to help me?
24.11.2025 - 23:37DROPS Design answered:
Hi Laura, Diagrams are read from the bottom up and from right to left when working from the right side. Row 1 : K2, P2, P2 together, repeated to end of round. Rows 2-6: K2, P2, K2, P1, repeated to end of round. Row 7: K2, P2 together, K2, P1, repeated to end of round. The 2 squares with diagonal lines at the top of the diagram are K2 together. Hej! Ide dalej schematem 2 o.p., 2 o.l., 2o.p., 2 oczka i potem 2o.p., 2o.l.,2o.p., 1o.l.? Dziękuję! Ola.
23.11.2025 - 20:46DROPS Design answered:
Witaj Olu, teraz przerabiasz schemat A.1 13 razy w okrążeniu.

Patrz video TUTAJ. Pozdrawiamy!

Hej! Czy mogłabym prosić o wyjaśnienie schematu A1? Nie mogę go zrozumieć, ile tych oczek i jak go powtórzyć 13 razy. 🫣 Robię czapkę na 3/4 lata. Dziękuję! Ola.
09.11.2025 - 20:38DROPS Design answered:
Witaj Olu, masz 104 oczka.

Mvh. Heidi
29.10.2025 - 21:16DROPS Design answered:
Hei Heidi.

Hi, After doing 8cms, turning piece inside out and then working the rib on the other side it seems that I am doing Knits into prevoius Knits and Purls into previous purls. So, it feels like the turning was pointless, because patter continues like nothing changed, with only a small hole in the middle (where the turn happened). Is this intended?

Hi, it is just to give a neater fold-up later. You may of course skip this step if you wish. Happy knitting!

HAT: Cast on 100-104-108-112-116-120-128 stitches with double pointed needles/circular needle size 3.5 mm and DROPS Merino Extra Fine. Work rib in the round (knit 2, purl 2) for 8 cm. When A.1 is finished in height, there are 50-52-54-56-58-60-64 stitches. Decrease as follows: ROUND 1: * Knit 2 together, knit 2 *, work from *-* until there are 2-0-2-0-2-0-0 stitches left, knit 2-0-2-0-2-0-0 = 38-39-41-42-44-45-48 stitches. ROUND 2: Knit. ROUND 3: * Knit 1, knit 2 together *, work from *-* until there are 2-0-2-0-2-0-0 stitches left, knit 2-0-2-0-2-0-0 = 26-26-28-28-30-30-32 stitches. ROUND 4: * Knit 2 together *, work from *-* to end of round = 13-13-14-14-15-15-16 stitches. Cut the strand, pull it through the remaining stitches, tighten and fasten well. The hat measures approx. 24-25-26-26-27-28-28 cm. Fold up the bottom 5 cm. The hat measures approx. 19-20-21-21-22-23-23 cm with fold-up. |
