Hei 😊 Hvor mange staver skal det hekles rundt den første luftmaskebuen? Det står bare 1 i diagrammet? Og neste omgang skal hekles i stavene under, men hvor er de?

Hej! Vad betyder de 3 vågformade, strecken i diagram A5? Och den runda ovalen med 4 streck i A4?

Hello, on the US English version the large fan says 4 single - double crochet. What is a single double crochet? And how is the large fan different from the med-lg fan?
17.03.2024 - 01:02DROPS Design answered:
Dear Lindsey, it's a typo; it's a treble crochet (US terms) or double treble crochet (UK terms). Here is a video on how to work this stitch: https://www.garnstudio.com/video.php?id=28&lang=us. Since the treble crochet is larger than the double crochet and you work 4 treble crochet instead of 3 double crochet, the treble crochet fan will naturally look larger than the double crochet fan. Happy crochetting!

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.5. CHAIN STITCH: If you work outermost on the hook the chain stitch will often be too tight; 1 chain stitch should be as long as 1 double/treble/double-treble crochet is wide. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- SITTING MAT – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked from the middle outwards, in a circle, according to diagrams. SITTING MAT: Use crochet hook size 6 mm and Alaska. Read CHAIN STITCH in explanations above. Work a chain-stitch ring as described in diagram A.1. Work pattern according to diagram A.3, a total of 12 times around the chain-stitch ring – A.2 shows how the rounds start and finish. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When diagram A.3 has been completed, there are 108 treble crochets on the round. Continue working according to diagram A.5 (27 times on the round) – A.4 shows how the rounds start and finish. After the first round there are 54 chain-spaces on the round. When diagram A.5 has been completed, the piece measures approx. 27 cm from the middle outwards. Cut and fasten the strand. FELTING: The piece can be felted either in the washing machine or the tumble dryer – read description below. Remember: Subsequent washes are as for a normal wool garment. IN WASHING MACHINE: Washing machines will vary when felting. If the piece is not felted enough, it can be felted again. If it is felted too much, it can be stretched to the correct size while still wet. DO THE FOLLOWING: Lay the piece in the washing machine, using a programme of approx. 40 minutes (not a wool programme). Wash at 40 degrees without pre-wash, detergent is optional. After washing, shape the piece while it is still wet. IN TUMBLE DRYER: Felting in a tumble dryer gives good control over the degree of felting. The tumble dryer can be opened during drying to check the size of the piece. If it is not felted enough it can be thoroughly wetted and felted again. If it is felted too much it can be stretched to the correct size while still wet. DO THE FOLLOWING: Lay the piece in water so it becomes completely wet, then place it in the tumble dryer and begin the drying process. Dry to the desired size, checking regularly. |
