Lone

Gauge: 24 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm on larger needles in stockinette st. Stripe Pattern: See charts. (1 chart = 1 repeat.) The pattern is seen from the right side. Rib Pattern: See chart (Pattern 3). The pattern is seen from the right side. Knitting tips (for raglan shaping on Body): Dec inside 13 edge sts as explained in the Pattern. Dec 1 st as follows on right side rows: After 13 sts: Slip 1 st as if to knit, K 1, psso. Before 13 sts: K 2 tog. Dec as follows on wrong side rows: After 13 sts: P 2 tog. Before 13 sts: Slip 2 sts, return to left needle 1 by 1, twisting each st, P 2 tog. BODY Cast on 200-216-240-256-272 sts on circular needle size 2,5 mm with beige Safran. Join and place a marker at the join. Establish pattern as follows on the first row: Pattern 3 (34 sts, put a marker in the center of these for the side), knit rib (* K 2, P 2*) over 66-74-86-94-102 sts, then Pattern 3 (34 sts, put a marker in the center of these sts for the side) and 66-74-86-94-102 sts rib (* K 2, P 2*). Knit in pattern as established for 2 cm. Change to circular needle size 3,0 mm and beige Cotton Viscose. Continue with Pattern 3 over 34 sts at each side, and knit the remaining sts in stockinette st. Read the entire next section before knitting: When the piece measures 7-8-9-10-11 cm knit stripe pattern following Pattern 1 over all sts (keeping sts in stockinette st and rib st patterns as established). Knit Pattern 1 twice then knit the rest with beige Safran. When the piece measures 6 cm inc 1 st each side of Pattern 3 at each side – 4 incs per row – knit the increased sts in stockinette st. Inc every 5 cm a total of 5 times = 220-236-260-276-292 sts. When the piece measures 32-33-34-35-36 cm bind off 4 sts each side of each side marker for armhole. Knit front and back separately from now on. Front: = 102-110-122-130-138 sts. Read entire next section before knitting! Continue in pattern as established (stockinette st and 13 sts in rib at each side). At the same time shape raglan as follows - see knitting tips: dec 1 st after the first 13 rib sts and 1 st before the last 13 rib sts every 4 rows: 5-5-5-4-4 times, then every other row: 13-12-12-13-14 times, then every row until neck bind off overlaps raglan. At the same time when the piece measures 42-44-45-47-48 cm put the center 20-22-24-26-28 sts on a st holder for the neck. Then bind off at each neck edge every other row: 3 sts 1 time and then 2 sts until all sts have been bound off. The piece measures approx. 49-51-53-55-57 cm to shoulder. Back: = 102-110-122-130-138 sts. Shape raglan - see knitting tips - dec 1 st every 4 rows 5-5-5-4-4 times, then every other row 16-15-15-16-17 times, then every row 2-7-11-15-16 times = 56-56-60-60-64 sts remain on needles. Bind off all sts, the piece measures approx. 49-51-53-55-57 cm. Sleeve: Cast on 62-62-68-68-74 sts on circular needle size 3,0 mm with beige Safran. Establish pattern on the first row as follows from right side: Sizes S, M and XXL: K 1 (edge st), * K 1, P 4, K 1 *, repeat from * - * end with K 1 (edge st). Sizes L and XL: K 1 (edge st), * P 2, K 2, P 2 *, repeat from * - * and end with K 1 (edge st). All sizes will have K 2 centered on sleeves. Knit the rib in stripe pattern following Pattern 2. After Pattern 2 knit with beige Safran to finished dimensions. At the same time when the piece measures 6 cm inc 1 st at each side (inside of 1 edge sts) 12-12-12-18-18 times: Sizes S, M and L: every 7 rows. Sizes XL and XXL: alternately every 4th and 5th row. Knit the increased sts in rib (= K 2, P 4) as you go along. 86-86-92-104-110 sts. When the sleeve measures 33-33-33-33-32 cm bind off 5 sts at each side = 76-76-82-94-100 sts. Then dec 1 st at each side: 4-5-5-4-4 times every 4 rows, 16-16-17-16-16 times every other row and then 6-5-7-15-18 times every row = 24 sts remain on needles. The piece measures approx. 50-51-52-53-53 cm, bind off the remaining sts. Assembly: Sew sleeve and raglan seams using edge sts as seam allowance. Neckband: Pick up around the neck with beige Cotton Viscose on circular needle size 2,5 mm as follows: 22 sts over sleeve, 54-54-58-58-62 sts over back, 22 sts over sleeve, 12 sts along raglan on front (pick up 1 st in every st), 42-58 sts over front (incl. sts on st holder) and 12 sts up along raglan on the other side = 164-188 sts around the neck. Knit as follows: Continue the rib over the sleeve and raglan as established, over Body knit K 2, P 2 - see that the sts match up in each transition before and after raglan seams. When the rib measures 2 cm, bind off in pattern. Cut a strand of pink Safran approx. 3 m. long. Twist until tight, fold double and let twist up on itself. Thread twisted cord through first row of neckband and tie at center front. |
