Please can you tell me the circumference sizes for hats. I’m about to knit 0-883 in Eskimo and would like to know which size I need to knit. Thank you
30.12.2018 - 12:48DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Stone, the usual sizes for hats are size S fits 50/52 cm - M fits 54/56 cm and size L fits 58-60 cm. Make sure to check your tension, the hat may look a bit small due to the English rib and the elasticity of the pattern. Happy knitting!

Hello. I am finding the video for the fisherman's rib in the round difficult to follow as it is shown in continental knitting style. My 3-row pattern just doesn't look right. Would the English rib, two-row pattern work in the round?
10.01.2017 - 16:02DROPS Design answered:
Dear Margaret, when working English rib in the round with the strand in the right hand, pass the yarn in front of work, slip 1 as if to P, pass yarn again between needle tips (so that the yarn makes a yarn over the needle) and P tog the YO and the next st. (round 2). You can also adjust pattern working on straight needles - read here. Happy knitting!

Bon tricot!
