The pattern was easy to adjust for a longer foot. I simply worked the first section of the foot for and additional 4 rows and then picked up an additional 4 stitches on each side of the foot. This added about 1.25 inches (3cm) total length.

I've never been so disappointed with a pattern. Not only difficult to follow, the video is useless because there is no sound and the parts I needed to see were sped up ...I used larger needles, followed the pattern to a T, and used the largest size AND THE COMPLETED SLIPPER MIGHT BE THE EQUIVALENT OF A SIZE 5 US!!!! These are so cute, I made one but unfortunately it doesn't fit. I wear a size 9 1/2 women's and i made the largest size that should fit a 9/10 but it was too small. They are adorable though and I'm giving my pair to a friend. :) I think I'll just try again with larger needles to see if that works. Thanks for sharing this pattern!

Is there a video tutorial for this pattern using circular needles rather than double pointed needles?
11.11.2017 - 04:58DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Critchfield, this pattern is worked with double pointed needles, that's the reason why the video is using these needles. You will find videos using circular needles there. Happy knitting!

Work rib K 1/P 1 in the round until piece measures approx. 10 cm. FOOT: Now keep the first 9-11-11 sts on the round on the needle, slip the remaining 27-27-29 sts on a stitch holder.
