Would it be possible that your instruction for the first couple of rows is a bit confusing - there are so many of us wondering it? If I follow the pattern to a letter, after two rounds I have a "cup" that fits on my forefinger! Maybe you could add a video that covers 3 first rounds or otherwise help us to get started?
25.04.2020 - 13:23DROPS Design answered:
Dear Ulla, make sure to check and keep your crochet tension in both height and width; you should work 5 treble crochets on first round, then crochet 2 treble crochets in each stitch on next 2 rounds = there are 20 treble crochets at the end of the 3rd round. Happy crocheting!

Dear Robin, yes, the first 10 rows should make a circle that is more or less flat. a slight curve can be okay, but really not much more. Happy Crafting!

5 tr on 1st row and 10 tr on 2nd row etc. do not result in flat circle!! Sorry, it just does not make sense.
