Neulotaan 2peräkkäin nurin? Mulla nuo silmukat on oikeita silmukoita.

Obs! 🧐

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- INCREASE TIP: Work as far as the marker-stitch, make 1 yarn over, knit 1 (= marker-stitch), 1 yarn over. Repeat at the other marker-stitch. On the next round work the yarn overs alternately twisted knit then twisted purl so the pattern is symmetrical on either side of the marker stitches; the rib continues as before. DECREASE TIP: Work until there are 2 stitches left before the marker, slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch, knit 2 together. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- TROUSERS – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked in the round on circular needle and top down. Change to double pointed needles when working the legs. TROUSERS: Cast on 120-124-130-134 (140-144) stitches with circular needle size 2.5 mm and DROPS Baby Merino. Work stocking stitch for 3 cm, purl 1 round (= folding edge). THE PIECE IS NOW MEASURED FROM HERE! Work stocking stitch for 3 cm. Change to circular needle size 3 mm, knit 1 round and increase 8-8-10-10 (12-12) stitches evenly spaced = 128-132-140-144 (152-156) stitches. Insert 1 marker in the first stitch and allow it to follow your work onwards. Work 1 round of rib (knit 1, purl 1). Now work an elevation at the back as follows: Work 6 rib stitches, turn, tighten the strand, work 12 rib stitches back, turn, tighten the strand, work 18 rib stitches, turn, tighten the strand, work 24 rib stitches back. Continue like this, with 6 more stitches each time you turn and until you have worked 60-72-84-96 (108-120) stitches from the wrong side. Turn and continue rib in the round from the right side. Work until the piece measures 15-17-18-18 (18-19) cm (measured down the front). Count 64-66-70-72 (76-78) stitches including the marker-stitch, insert a marker in the next stitch (= knitted stitch mid-front). On the next round increase 2 stitches at each marker-stitch - read INCREASE TIP! Increase like this every 2nd round a total of 5-5-5-5 (7-7) times = 148-152-160-164 (180-184) stitches. Work rib until the piece measures 18-20-21-21 (22-23) cm (measured down the front). On the next round, divide for the legs as follows: Work rib until there are 6-6-6-6 (8-8) stitches left before the marker-stitch mid-front, cast off 13-13-13-13 (17-17) stitches, work rib until there are 6-6-6-6 (8-8) stitches left before the marker-stitch mid-back, cast off 13-13-13-13 (17-17) stitches and work rib to the end of the round. Finish each leg separately; place the stitches you are not working on a thread. LEGS: = 61-63-67-69 (73-75) stitches. THE PIECE IS NOW MEASURED FROM HERE! Insert a marker at the beginning of the round, work rib in the round as before (the round starts and ends with purl 1). When the leg measures 2-2-2-2 (3-3) cm, decrease 1 stitch on each side of the marker - read DECREASE TIP in explanations above. Decrease like this every 2-2-3-3 (3½-4½) cm a total of 6-6-6-6 (7-7) times = 49-51-55-57 (59-61) stitches. Work until the leg measures 16-17-20-23 (28-37) cm. Change to double pointed needles size 2.5 mm and work stocking stitch until the leg measures 17-18-21-24 (29-38) cm. Loosely cast off so the edge is not tight. Place the stitches from the thread back onto double pointed needles size 3 mm and work in the same way as the first leg. ASSEMBLY: Fold the top of the waist double. Tie the elastic together and lay it in the fold, sew the cast-on edge to the inside. Sew the cast-off stitches at the front of the trousers to the cast-off stitches at the back. |
