I’d like to knit the Winter Smiles Hat but in a teal colour so I thought of combining Baby Marino in North Sea shade together with Kid Silk in the Petrol colour. How much yarn would I need of the two , and would the tension work ? thank you :)
04.12.2024 - 10:29DROPS Design answered:
Dear Gilly, since you use 2 thread of group A yarns to substitute 1 group C yarn you should be able to work this pattern with the same gauge. But you will need to make a swatch with the chosen yarn anyway to check that the needle size is correct and that your gauge will match the pattern's. On the other hand, to calculate the amount of yarn, you will need to calculate the full yardage with DROPS Air for your chosen size and the necessary balls of DROPS Kid-Silk and DROPS Baby Merino that you need for this yardage; please check the following lesson: https://www.garnstudio.com/lesson.php?id=14&cid=19. Happy knitting!

14.11.2024 - 02:06DROPS Design answered:
Liebe Frau Mellay, für die Abnahmen der Mütze wird man jetzt so abnehmen, wie im A.1 gezeigt, so stricken Sie 9 oder 10 Mal A.1 in der Runde (9x12= 108 M / 10x12=120M) und gleichzeitig nehmen Sie wie in A.1 gezeigt, so bei jeder 2. Runde wird man je 1 Masche in jedem A.1 abnehmen = 9-10 M in jeder 2.

Tere, mina koon "Winter Smiles Hat DROPS Air lõngast soonikkoes kootud hipster müts jõuludeks" Mulle on segaseks jäänud kokkuvõtmine.
10.10.2024 - 07:48DROPS Design answered:
Tere Kristi! Kokkukudumised on koguaeg 2 parempidi kokku. Juhendid on ainult ideeks!

Hi! I would like to know why it is written 100 -100 g in the amount of yarn we need to buy. Why 100 is written twice? Do I need to buy 100 g of yarn or 200? Thanks and have a good day.
25.01.2024 - 18:25DROPS Design answered:
Hi Mariette, The 2 numbers are for the 2 different sizes, so you only need to buy 100 g of yarn whichever size you knit. Happy crafting!

Onko A1 mallissa virhe? Pitäisikö ensin neuloa siis yksi kerros, jossa on kaksi oikein neulottua silmukkaa kunkin 12 silmukkaa sisältävän mallin alussa? Toinenhan näistä on nurja silmukka eli neulotaan oikein yhteen nurja ja oikea silmukka? Kiitos avusta!

Hei, piirroksen A.1 mallikerran alussa nurja ja oikea silmukka neulotaan oikein yhteen.
