Very good pattern. Simple and easy to modify with beautiful results. Love the chart, easy to read and to visualize how to make it larger. Thanh you!

Hello, I need help with the pattern please. I had knitted all A.1 and at 71 stitches count, and I'm stuck. The pattern said to "On next row from right side work according to diagram A.2. (Row 1 of A.2: k1, Sl1K1psso ,yo,Sl1K1psso, k6,yo ect...) - I think it looks fine. But, the instruction continue with " When diagram A.2 has been worked 1 time vertically, 3 stitches remain on needle ..." - what does this mean by 1 time vertically ? Thank you

Dear Mrs Whome, this means after you have worked A.2 to the end, to the last row (last row will be: K1, slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 2 together and pass slipped stitch over stitches worked together, K1 = 3 sts remain). Happy knitting!

It makes me sad to know that there isn't a pattern that is written out for knitters. It seems to not consider the beginner. 😢🙁

Dear Lisa, the patterns are not written out not only because it is easier to provide knitting patterns with charts in several languages, but also, because we believe that unlike with a written out pattern, where you only see the very next step, with a diagram you can see how the stitches, the rows, the patterns relate to each other. You can always check out tutorial about how to read a chart here, or ask for help in person, or over the phone in the store where you bought your DROPS yarn from. Happy Knitting.

Love the pattern; however, the pattern makes absolutely no sense to me. Can you please write it out and re-post?

I was so excited to find this dishcloth but there is no way I'm attempting to decipher the diagram. It hurts my eyes just looking at it. Too bad...

Given the amount of confusion this pattern is causing, due to the lack of written instructions, surely it would be easier to just write out the pattern in words we can all understand, rather than continuing to tell everyone to learn how to read charts. You have many patterns I would love to attempt, but, like many others, I need words, not charts and symbols.

It is hard to read Happy Knitting every time you answer, when the pattern diagram is confusing And there are NO written instructions. This makes for very unhappy knitting!

Would love to order the yarn and make this pattern; however, I do not find this chart at all user friendly. Is there a written pattern available?

This is a beautiful dishcloth and I can't wait to knit it. I have looked at the visual chart and looked at how to read it but I am still confused. As others have said do you have a written version somewhere that other sites use? Thank you!
