Could I use 2 strands of " Snow "to knit this sweater ? Thank-you

Dear Angela, as long as you get the correct tension with 2 strands Snow then you can - but remember to check your tension first. Happy knitting!

Que veut die tricoter avec 5 fils?
11.04.2020 - 16:05DROPS Design answered:
Bonjour Mme Dubé, on tricote ce pull avec 1 fil de 5 pelotes en même temps autrement dit avec 5 fils comme s'il n'y en avait qu'un seul pour avoir une épaisseur correspondante à 5 fois celle du fil simple. Bon tricot!

Which other drops yarns would achieve the same lightweight effect?
11.02.2019 - 10:29DROPS Design answered:
Dear Eve this sweater is designed for the DROPS Air yarn particularly for this reason: because from our selection this yarn is the one that is exceptionally light, airy and warm. You can try to put together a few strands of Melody or Brushed Alpaca Silk yarns, they will be light, air and warm, but somewhat different as with these yarns the resulting fabric will be haiy, and have a halo effect. Happy Knitting!

Can I replace with Drops Big Merino? If so how much yarn would I need for a size L? Thanks
08.02.2019 - 17:22DROPS Design answered:
Dear Eve, yes, you could, but since Air is a very soft and light yarn, that is why we can use 5 stnads together and still get a soft sweater. While Big Merino is much denser the resulting peiece would too heavy, to rigid, and not comfortable to move in. Happy Knitting.
