DIAGRAMS: M.1 shows how to crochet a square. M.2 shows how 2 squares are crochet tog. M.3 shows the order of squares. -------------------------------------------------------- SHAWL: Worked in rows. For each row crochet one less square, the first square on a new row is crochet in second square from row below, continue like this until there is only 1 square left on the last row. The shawl is worked from corner of one short side to corner of the other short side – see M.3. FIRST ROW – SQUARE 1: Also see M.1. Crochet 4 ch with 1 strand Snow and crochet hook size 9 mm and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: * 12 ch, 1 dc in ch-ring *, repeat from *-* a total of 8 times = 8 ch-loops, cut thread. ROUND 2: Change to 2 strands Puddel. FINISHING BORDER: Crochet along both short sides with 2 strands Puddel and crochet hook size 9 mm as follows: 1 dc in ch-loop in corner at the top of one side, * 5 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop *, repeat from *-* down along one side and up along the other side, cut thread – NOTE: in ch-loop at the bottom point work 1 extra loop, i.e. in this loop work 2 dc with 5 ch between each. |
