D'avance merci beaucoup. Bien à vous. Cordialement

I do not have a lot of experience knitting and i thought looking at the photo of the vest it was knitted in garter stitch. The pattern has the bulk of the vest knitted in stocking stitch. Is the pattern shown in the photo called something other than Bouclette. I look forward to hearing from you. Louise
19.05.2024 - 01:46DROPS Design answered:
Dear Louise, the photo is correct. The bouclé effect from the yarn makes it seem like you are working ridges but in truth you are working in stocking stitch; this yarn effect makes it difficult to see the actual stitch-pattern used. But the pattern is correct. Happy knitting!

I have downloaded a couple of your patterns No 356 Arianna and Mariette No 101-18. Plse tell me if your patterns are in American size needles or English in theses patterns. Much appreciated for a response Regards Sherry
01.02.2022 - 17:03DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Gillies, our patterns are available in both UK- and US- terminology - the UK-patterns are only given in cm, charts have all measurements in cm. Measure a similar garment you have and like the shape and compare with the measurements in the chart, this is the best way to find out the matching size. Read more about measurement charts here. Happy knitting!
