So stricken Sie die Rückreihen so: 4 M re, 1 M li, *1 M re (krausrechts), 1 M re (glattlinks), 1 M re (krausrechts), 1 M li (Glattrechts)*, 4 M re.

I do not understand your decrease. It seems that four stitches on the right needle are passed over the same first stitch on the roof got needle which does not make sense
07.11.2022 - 05:25DROPS Design answered:
Hi Cindy, You work 5 stitches, then pass the second-to-last stitch worked over the last stitch worked, then the stitch before that over the last stitch, the second stitch worked over the last stitch and finally the first stitch worked over the last stitch. Hope this helps and happy knitting!

Hello, I'm knitting this beautiful hat but don't understand the decreasing section where it says knit 5(K1,1st garter,P1,1st garter,K1), than pass 2and st on right needle over 1st,pass 3rd st over first...
12.05.2020 - 16:29DROPS Design answered:
Dear Deni, you have to work the next 5 sts as they should be worked (this means work knit 1, 1 st in garter st (= either K or P depending on the round), pur 1, 1 st in garter st (= either K or P depending on the round), knit 1. Now you have to pass the 2nd st on the left needle over the outermost stitch, and repeat this a total of 4 times so that the first 4 sts worked are passed over the outermost stitch (the last stitch worked). Hope this helps. Happy knitting!

Hello! I am starting to do the decreases and my question is that after the row where you first decrease 16 stitches, are the subsequent rows, done the same way? All decrease by 16 total stitches per row? Until you hit 9 and 3/4"?
21.12.2015 - 20:53DROPS Design answered:
Dear Jessica, you dec 16 sts when piece measures 8 3/4" = 48 sts remain, then dec 16 sts when piece measures 9 3/4"= 32 sts remain, then on next row K2 tog across = 16 sts. Happy knitting!
