Can you please explain this... ROUND 8: 1 sc in every sc - at the same time inc 4-6-8 sts evenly on round = 46-48-50 sc.
04.11.2021 - 02:33DROPS Design answered:
Dear Toni, you should do an sc into each stitch, while, in the same round increasing 4-5-8 sc. You should take the number of stitches on the round, divide it with the number of stitches you should increase, and you will have how often should you increase with making 2 SC into one stitch (instead of 1). Happy Stitching!

11.06.2020 - 19:53DROPS Design answered:
Hei S I Lje.

Bon crochet!

Crochet DROPS ballerina slippers with lace edges in ”Merino Extra Fine”. Size 35 – 43.
DROPS 142-41 |

SLIPPER: Worked from toe towards heel, work lace edge at the end. Crochet 4 ch on hook size 3 mm with Merino Extra Fine and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Insert a marker at beg of round but do not finish every round with 1 sl st, just work in the round to make the beg and end of round less visible. ROUND 1: 8 dc in ch-ring. ROUND 2: * 1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 12 dc. ROUND 3: * 1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 18 dc. ROUND 4: * 1 dc in each of the first 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 24 dc. ROUND 5: * 1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 30 dc. ROUND 6: * 1 dc in each of the first 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 36 dc. ROUND 7: * 1 dc in each of the first 5 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the rest of the round = 42 dc. ROUND 8: 1 dc in every dc - at the same time inc 4-6-8 sts evenly on round = 46-48-50 dc. Continue working in the round with 1 dc in every dc until piece measures 7-8-9 cm. Now divide for opening mid on top of foot as follows: Work until 4-6-6 dc remain on round, turn with 1 ch, skip first dc and work 1 dc in each of the next 40-40-42 dc. * Turn with 1 ch and work 1 dc in every dc *, repeat from *-* until entire piece measures approx. 20-22-25 cm (the slipper will be stretched when worn), cut the thread and sew tog edge to edge mid back of heel. LACE EDGE: Start mid back from inside of slipper. ROUND 1: 1 dc, * skip approx. 1.5 cm, work as follows in next st: 1 dtr, 1 ch, 1 dtr, 3 ch, 1 dtr, 1 ch and 1 dtr, skip 1.5 cm and work 1 dc in next st *, repeat from *-* around the entire slipper, skip a little less than 1.5 cm mid front to avoid a tight lace edge when it is folded over the slipper, finish round with 1 sl st in first dc instead of last dc. ROUND 2: 3 ch, * in 3-ch-loop from previous round work: 1 dtr, 1 ch, 1 dtr, 1 ch, 1 dtr, 3 ch, 1 dtr, 1 ch, 1 dtr, 1 ch and 1 dtr, then 1 tr in dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round. ROUND 3: Work as 2nd round, cut and fasten the thread. Crochet another slipper the same way. Steam iron the slippers lightly so that the lace edge lies neatly around the edge of opening. |
