On next row work YO twisted (i.e. work in the back loop of YO instead of front) to avoid holes. BUTTON HOLES: Cast off for button holes on right front band. 1 button hole = cast off 2nd band st from edge. On next row cast on 1 new st over the cast off st. Cast off for button holes when piece measures: SIZE S: 2, 11, 20, 29, 38 and 47 cm. SIZE M: 3, 11, 18, 26, 34, 41 and 49 cm. SIZE L: 3, 11, 19, 27, 35, 43 and 51 cm. SIZE XL: 4, 11, 18, 25, 32, 39, 46 and 53 cm. SIZE XXL: 4, 12, 19, 26, 33, 40, 47 and 55 cm. SIZE XXXL: 4, 12, 19, 27, 34, 42, 49 and 57 cm. -------------------------------------------------------- BODY: Worked back and forth on circular needle from mid front. Read KNITTING TIP! Cast on 78-86-94-102-114-122 sts (incl 4 band sts each side towards mid front) on circular needle 10 mm with 2 threads Verdi. Work as follows (1st row = from RS): 4 band sts in GARTER ST - see explanation above -, K 2, * P 2, K 2 *, repeat from *-* and finish with 4 band sts in GARTER ST. When 3-3-3-5-5-5 rows have been worked, K 1 row from WS (work band sts in Garter st until finished measurements!). Continue in stocking st with 4 band sts each side. NOTE! Remember to cast off for BUTTON HOLES - see explanation above. Insert 4 markers as follows: 1st marker after 19-21-23-25-28-30 sts, 2nd marker after 23-25-27-29-32-34 sts, 3rd marker after 55-61-67-73-82-88 sts and 4th marker after 59-65-71-77-86-92 sts (= 4 sts between markers in each side). When piece measures 9 cm from cast on edge, dec 1 st on each side of 4 sts in each side - Read DECREASE TIP 1! Repeat when piece measures approx. 13 cm = 70-78-86-94-106-114 sts. Continue in stocking st with 4 band sts each side. When piece measures 23 cm, inc 1 st on each side of 4 sts in each side - Read INCREASE TIP! = 74-82-90-98-110-118 sts. Continue in stocking st and 4 band sts each side until piece measures 29-30-31-32-33-34 cm. Now work next row from RS as follows: Work 18-20-22-24-27-29 sts, cast off the next 4 sts, work 30-34-38-42-48-52 sts, cast off the next 4 sts and work the last 18-20-22-24-27-29 sts. Put piece aside = 66-74-82-90-102-110 sts remain on needle. SLEEVE: The sleeve is worked back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 22-22-22-26-26-26 sts (incl 1 edge st each side) on circular needle 10 mm with 2 threads Verdi. Work rib as follows (1st row = from RS): 1 edge st, * K 2, P 2 *, repeat from *-* and finish with 1 edge st. Continue like this until rib measures approx. 4 cm. Now continue working in stocking st with 1 edge st each side. AT THE SAME TIME on first row from RS, adjust the no of sts to 22-23-23-25-27-27 sts. When piece measures 8 cm, inc 1 st each side inside 1 edge st. Repeat inc every 6-6-5-5-5-4 cm a total of 6-6-7-7-7-8 times - Read INCREASE TIP! = 34-35-37-39-41-43 sts. When piece measures approx. 43-42-42-41-40-40 cm (NOTE! Shorter measurements in the larger sizes because of broader shoulder width) cast off 3 sts at beg of the next 2 rows = 28-29-31-33-35-37 sts. Put piece aside and knit another sleeve. ASSEMBLY: Sew the sleeves tog inside 1 edge st. YOKE: Slip sleeves on to same circular needle as body where armholes were cast off = 122-132-144-156-172-184 sts. Insert 1 marker after 19-17-16-18-18-20 sts, then insert 7-7-7-8-8-8 markers with 12-14-16-15-17-18 sts between each = 19-17-16-18-18-20 sts remain after last marker (= 8-8-8-9-9-9 markers). Now measure the piece from here! Continue working in stocking st (4 band sts in each side are worked as before). When piece measures 2 cm, dec 1 st on each side of every marker (= 16-16-16-18-18-18 sts dec) - Read DECREASE TIP 2! Repeat the dec every 5-5-5½-5½-5½-6 cm a total of 4 times = 58-68-80-84-100-112 sts. Size XXL + XXXL: Repeat dec 1 more time when piece measures 20-21 cm = 82-94 sts. Continue to work until piece measures 18-19-20-21-22-23 cm. On next row from RS, K over all sts while AT THE SAME TIME dec 10-18-28-29-25-36 sts evenly (do not dec over band sts) = 48-50-52-55-57-58 sts. Turn piece. P 1 row from WS but turn piece when 10 sts remain towards mid front. Tighten the thread and K from RS until 10 sts remain in the other side towards mid front. Turn piece and tighten thread.
