The gauge suggests that with Bulky (7WPI) Drops Vienna or Drops Melody should measure only 16 rows to measure 4" or 10 CM. I suggest this may be an error. Has anyone found this to be challenging??

Dear Peter, tension is right, you should have 16 rows worked in pattern = 10 cm in height. Happy knitting!

I am having trouble understanding the instructions in the front section. 70 sts. Bind off for armholes on every other row: 2 sts 2 times, lst (2) times. (58) sts. remain. I believe I am to bind off 2 stitches at the beginning and end of the row on alternate rows 2 times (that would bind off 8 stitches). But I don't understand the 1st (2) times part of the instructions. If you can help me out I would very much appreciate it.
23.09.2017 - 20:26DROPS Design answered:
Dear Kathy, Binging/casting off every other row, means that you always bing off at the side of the front. 2 stitches twice, and 1 stitch 1-1-1 (2-2-2) times. Then you should put the center 18-18-19 (20-20-21) stitches on a stitch holder, or a piece of yarn (these stitches will be used later, when the neck edge is knitted, then continue on one side - no more decrease for the armhole, however to shape the neckline, at the beginning of every 2. rows (when you knit from the nect toward the side) bind off 2 stitches once, and one stitch once. I hope this helps. Happy knitting!

Succes. Tine
