Bon tricot!

This pattern confuses me. For this Cardigan, It seems like I am knitting 5 pieces (1 back; 2 fronts/ 2 sleeves) where does the ‘ body’ section fit in the pattern?
29.09.2026 - 04:04DROPS Design answered:
Hi Tahni, The body is the part of the garment from the ribbed bottom edge and up as far as the armholes. In this section, the front and back pieces are worked together on the row, then they are separated after you have cast off stitches for the armholes. Regards, Drops Team.

Bon tricot!

I am struggling to understand the shaping for sleeve caps. I have bound off 2 st on either side of marker, now working side to side. The instruction for size M is to bind off 3 at beginning of every other row. This would mean all the decreases would be on the same side. That can't be right. What have I not understood? Thanks.
10.03.2026 - 20:55DROPS Design answered:
Hi Hilary, You cast off 3 stitches at each end of every 2nd row (so symmetrically). The other method is to cast off at the beginning of each row (3 stitches each time) but make sure you do each decrease equally on both sides. Regards, Drops Team.
