INFORMATION FOR THE PATTERN:

PATTERN:
See diagrams A.1 to A.3.
----------------------------------------------------------

CLOTH:
The cloths are worked back and forth in textured pattern. Make 1 in each colour.
Work 58 chain stitches with hook size 3 mm and Cotton Light. Work1 treble crochet in the 4th chain stitch from hook (= 2 treble crochets), work 1 treble crochet in each of the next 2 chain stitches, * skip 1 chain stitch, work 1 treble crochet in each of the next 3 chain stitches *, work from *-* to end of row = 43 treble crochets.
The next row is worked as follows: Work A.1, then A.2 over the next 39 treble crochets (= 13 repeats of 3 stitches) and A.3 over the last 3 treble crochets. When the diagrams have been completed in height, repeat the 2 rows in the diagrams to finished length - REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! Cut and fasten strand when piece measures approx. 20 cm (make sure the length equals the breadth of the cloth).

Diagram

= 1 chain stitch
= work 1 treble crochet in treble crochet from previous row
= work 1 treble crochet around the treble crochet from previous row (i.e. work around the treble crochet itself, not in the stitch)
= this row has already been worked - Start on next row!

DROPS Design 07.01.2019 kl. 12:00:

Liebe Frau Sittenauer, A.1-A.3 ist nur 2 Reihe (die erste Reihe wurde schon gehäkelt), diese 2 Reihe einfach wiederholen, bei den Hinreihen: A.1, A.2 wiederholen und mit A.3 enden - bei ben Rückreihen: mit A.3 anfangen, A.2 wiederholen (von links nach rechts lesen) und mit A.1 beenden. Viel Spaß beim häkeln!

Regina Mansor 30.12.2018 - 18:50:

Could you tell me why the first row skips stitches? I have seen other patterns where each chain has a treble and is based on multiple of 3 plus 2 extra. Thanks

DROPS Design 02.01.2019 kl. 10:56:

Dear Mrs Mansor, the fundation chain is quite often too tight, so that you cast on here more chain stitches than you will need on first row, so that you get 43 sts (over the 58 chains) to work the pattern and the first row will not be too tight. Happy crocheting!

ALLAIN Cindy 08.12.2017 - 16:02:

Bon crochet!
