INFORMATION FOR THE PATTERN:

RIDGE/GARTER STITCH (worked back and forth):
1 ridge = Knit 2 rows.

PATTERN:
See diagrams A.1 to A.3. The diagrams show all the rows in the pattern seen from the right side.
----------------------------------------------------------

BIB:
The piece is worked back and forth on the needle and top down.
Cast on 29 stitches with needle size 2.5 mm and Baby Merino.
ROW 1 (= right side): 2 edge stitches in GARTER STITCH – see description above, 1 yarn over, knit 1 stitch, 1 yarn over, work A.1 (= 7 stitches), work A.2 (= 9 stitches), work A.3 (= 7 stitches), 1 yarn over, knit 1 stitch, 1 yarn over and finish with 2 edge stitches in garter stitch (= 4 stitches increased) = 33 stitches.
ROW 2 (= wrong side): 2 edge stitches in garter stitch, 1 yarn over, purl 3 stitches, work A.3 over the next 7 stitches, A.2 over the next 9 stitches, A.1 over the next 7 stitches, purl 3 stitches, 1 yarn over and finish with 2 edge stitches in garter stitch (= 2 stitches increased) = 35 stitches.
ROW 3 (= right side): 2 edge stitches in garter stitch, 1 yarn over, knit to A.1, 1 yarn over, A.1/A.2/A.3 as before, 1 yarn over, work stocking stitch until there are 2 stitches left, 1 yarn over and finish with 2 edge stitches in garter stitch (= 4 stitches increased).
ROW 4 (= wrong side): 2 edge stitches in garter stitch, 1 yarn over, purl to A.3, A.3 /A.2/A.1 as before, work stocking stitch until there are 2 stitches left, 1 yarn over and finish with 2 edge stitches in garter stitch (= 2 stitches increased). REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!

Repeat rows 3 and 4 (i.e. increase 1 stitch in each side of the piece inside the 2 edge stitches on each row and 1 stitch on each side of A.1 on each row from the right side). When A.2 has been completed 1 time in height, the piece measures approx. 10 cm, measured along A.1. Work 2 ridges over all stitches. Cast off.
Fasten a button on one end of the bib (the button is buttoned through 1 of the holes inside the 2 edge stitches in garter stitch).

Anna 10.01.2019 - 21:37:

Mariell 10.10.2017 - 17:24:

Tak for info! :)
