04.09.2018 - 18:06DROPS Design answered:
Dag Wilma, Cotton Merino is inderdaad veel minder elastisch.

Bon tricot!

PATTERN: See diagram A.1 - diagram is worked in stocking st. ---------------------------------------------------------- HAT: Worked in the round on circular needle, switch to double pointed needles when needed. Cast on 90-96 sts on circular needle size 4.5 mm with light grey. K 2 rounds. Then work rib = K 1/P 2 until piece measures 3 cm. Switch to circular needle size 5 mm. K 1 round while AT THE SAME TIME dec 6 sts = 84-90 sts. Then work A.1 (= 14-15 repetitions in the round). REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When A.1 has been worked, continue with light grey. When piece measures 18 cm, insert 12 markers in the piece as follows: * Insert 1 marker after 7-7 sts, then 1 marker after 7-8 sts *, repeat from *-* the entire round. On next round K 2 tog before all markers (= 12 sts dec), repeat dec every 2nd-3rd round 5 times in total = 24-30 sts remain on needle. Work 1 round where all sts are K tog 2 by 2 = 12-15 sts. Cut the yarn and pull it through the remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten. Hat measures approx. 23-25 cm. ---------------------------------------------------------- MITTENS: Worked in the round on double pointed needles. LEFT MITTEN: Cast on 36 sts on double pointed needles size 3.5 mm with light grey. Work rib = K 1/P 2 for 4 cm. Switch double pointed needles size 4.5 mm and work in stocking st until piece measures 8 cm. Work A.1 (= 6 repetitions on round) – AT THE SAME TIME when 9 rounds of A.1 have been worked, beg inc for thumb gusset by making 1 YO on each side of last st on round – on next round K YOs twisted (i.e. work in back loop of st instead of front) to avoid holes – repeat inc every other round with 2 sts more between YOs every time 5 times in total (work all inc thumb sts + sts inc on each side of in light grey). After all inc, there are 11 thumb sts and 46 sts in total. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When piece measures 14 cm in total, slip the 11 thumb sts on 1 stitch holder and cast on 1 new st over sts on stitch holder = 36 sts. When diagram A.1 has been worked, continue with light grey until finished measurements. When piece measures 24 cm, insert 6 markers in the piece, 6 sts apart. On next round, dec 1 st at every marker by K 2 tog after all markers. Repeat dec every other round 4 times in total = 12 sts. On next round K tog all sts 2 by 2 = 6 sts. Cut the yarn and pull it through the remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten. Mitten measures approx. 28 cm in total. THUMB: Slip the 11 sts over thumb gusset on double pointed needles size 4.5 mm and pick in addition up 3 sts along the edge behind thumb sts = 14 sts. Work in stocking st in the round with light grey for 6 cm, then K all sts tog 2 by 2 = 7 sts. Cut the yarn and pull it through the remaining 7 sts, tighten tog and fasten. RIGHT MITTEN: Work as left but inc for thumb gusset on each side of first st on round. ---------------------------------------------------------- NECK WARMER: Worked in the round on circular needle, top down. Cast on 108-114 sts on circular needle size 4.5 mm with Nepal. K 2 rounds. Then work rib (= K 1/P 2). REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When piece measures 12 cm, inc with 1 YO after every K st, P YO twisted on next round = 144-152 sts. Then continue with K 1/P 3. Repeat inc every 4½-5 cm 2 more times = 216-228 sts (= K 1/P 5). When piece measures 23-25 cm, K 2 rounds over all sts AT THE SAME TIME dec on 1st round as follows: K tog the first 2 P sts after every K st = 180-190 sts. Cast off. |
