CROCHET INFO:
Beg every tr round with 3 ch instead of 1 tr. Finish every round with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round.

CIRCLE:
1st round: Crochet 4 ch on hook size 7 mm with Eskimo and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Work 10-10-10-12-12 tr in ch-ring. Read crochet info above!
2nd round: * 1 tr in first tr, 2 tr in next tr *, repeat from *-* = 15-15-15-18-18 tr.
3rd round: * 1 tr in first tr, 2 tr in next tr *, repeat from *-* = 22-22-22-27-27 tr.
4th round: * 1 tr in first tr, 2 tr in next tr *, repeat from *-* = 33-33-33-40-40 tr.

COLOUR CHANGE TIP:
Change colour at the end of round so that the new colour starts with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round.

STRIPE COLOURS:
Start with light beige mix. Work 6 rounds in light beige mix, then 2 rounds with tan, 3 rounds with off white, 2 rounds with medium grey, 3 rounds with light grey.

CROCHET 2 STS TOG:
Work first st - but wait with last pull through - work next st and on last pull through, pull thread though all sts on hook.
--------------------------------------------------------

HAT:
The piece is worked top down. Work on hook size 7 mm and off white and work CIRCLE - see explanation above. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! Read CROCHET INFO! When 4th round have been worked, work next round as follows: Work tr in every tr but inc 6-8-10-5-8 tr evenly = 39-41-43-45-48 tr. Continue to work 1 tr in every tr until piece measures approx. 16-17-18-19-20 cm. Read COLOUR CHANGE TIP. Work 3 rounds with beige. Cut and fasten the thread. Make a large pompom using both colours and fasten it at the top of the hat.

NECK WARMER:
Loosely work 56 ch on hook size 8 mm with light beige mix and form a ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch. Work STRIPE COLOURS - see explanation above.
1ST ROUND: 3 ch, work 1 tr in every ch = 56 tr, finish with 1 sl st in first tr.
Continue the rounds like this until 5 rounds have been worked. On 6th round, dec 4 sts evenly by working every 13th and 14th st tog the entire round - see explanation above = 52 tr.
Continue with stripes. After last stripe, the neck warmer measures approx. 26 cm vertically. Cut and fasten the threads.

Kirsten 28.08.2018 - 18:18:

Hi, does the chain 3 at the beginning of each round count as a dc? So chain 3, 11 dc. Or is it chain 3, 12 dc?

DROPS Design 28.08.2018 kl. 19:12:

Dear Kirsten. the 3 chain stitches substitute the first dc. Therefore, you work 3 ch and 11 dc.

Annika 22.11.2017 - 14:11:

Hej!

Barbara 12.01.2015 - 17:59:

I am from the United States...I am crocheting the hat and I have a question where it says after the 4th round, which I have completed, it says to Work tr in every tr but inc 6-8-10-5-8 tr evenly = 39-41-43-45-48 tr. I know that in English tr, is a dc...I am confused as to the 6-8-10-5-8 tr evenly...etc...I am making a women's hat...I know the 45 is the # of stiches after the round..but what about the 6-8-10-5-8... Thank you

DROPS Design 12.01.2015 kl. 18:29:

Dear Barbara, if you are working 4th size (45 dc at the end of 5th round), you will inc 5 dc evenly - remember you can change language into US-English clicking on the arrow at the bottom of picture, so that you get US-English terminology. Happy crocheting!

Mena 14.11.2014 - 10:41:

In tutto 40 m. Buon lavoro!

Vanda 15.09.2014 - 08:43:

Det syftar på olika storlekar.
