Hat:
Tension: 10 dc x 12 rows using crochet hook 6mm = 10x10cm
Crochet info: Replace first dc on each row with 1 ch and finish each row with 1 sl st in first ch from beginning of row.

Crochet 4 ch using crochet hook 6mm and Alaska and form a ring with a sl st.
1st round: 8 dc in ring (see crochet info above)
2nd round: 2 dc in each dc = 16 dc
3rd round: *1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in next dc*, repeat from *to* = 24 dc
4th-6th-8th-10th round: 1 dc in each dc
5th round: *1 dc in the first 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc*, repeat from *to* = 32 dc
7th round: *1 dc in the first 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc*, repeat from *to* = 40 dc
9th round: *1 dc in the first 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc*, repeat from *to* = 48 dc
11th round: *1 dc in the first 5 dc, 2 dc in next dc*, repeat from *to* = 56 dc

Continue rounds in dc without increasing until hat measures 15 from the top. Change to Fox and crochet 1 round of dc, next round increase 7 dc evenly by crocheting 2 dc in every 8th dc = 63 dc. Change back to Alaska and crochet 3 rounds dc without increasing. Next round increase 7 dc evenly by crocheting 2 dc in every 9th dc = 70 dc. Crochet 2 rounds dc without increasing and change to Eskimo. Crochet 1 round without increasing and cut the thread.
Rims: crochet 2 rims as follows:
Fold the hat, wrong side against wrong side, between 2nd and 3rd row (from bottom edge). Using Eskimo, crochet 1 dc in each dc from top and into folding edge. Fold hat again between 6th and 7th row (right under the Fox stripe) and crochet a similar row with Eskimo. Hat measures approx 22 from the top.

Scarf:
Knitting tension: 8 sts in pattern using needles 12mm = width 10cm
Pattern:
1st row = right side: *knit 1, 2 yarn over needle*, repeat from *to*
2nd row = wrong side: knit whilst slipping yon (= long stitches)
3rd and 4th row: Knit
Repeat row 1-4

Cast on 13 sts loosely with Fox and needles 12mm and knit 2 rows. Continue in pattern until scarf measures approx 50 cm. Cast off loosely after 4th row in pattern.
