Hi there - just made my first "Moon Socks" and they are great - loved the video above but unfortunately there appears to be no sound - I have checked all the settings on my computer and speakers but all seems in order. Are you able to post another one with English instructions please or if not a video perhaps some detailed written instructions for attaching the cuff. Many thanks
28.08.2015 - 04:08DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Mack, Our videos do not have sound. We are a worldwide company and our videos are watched by people around the world, speaking different languages, many of whom do not understand English. We have therefore written instructions to accompany this video, ie in that case, follow written pattern at the same time as watching video and there is no sound to disturb while watching. And remember you can always contact your DROPS store, they will help you even per mail or telephone. Enjoy!

Do you have a pattern for knitting these using two straight needles (instead of 4 double point needles or circular needles)? I'd be most grateful - really keen to knit them, they are awesome! Thank you :)

Dear JKB, you can have a look on the video below to adjust/adapt pattern to work it flat - or/and see how to work with double pointed needles/circular needles. Happy knitting!

I live in South Africa - what weight is the Nepal yarn? With the 6mm needle I would imagine it would be what we would call a "Chunky" yarn?
25.05.2015 - 13:09DROPS Design answered:
Dear Maureen, please click here for more informations about our yarns - and here to find a DROPS store shipping worldwide. Happy knitting!

Good Day. I want to knit these gorgeous socks. If I read the pattern correctly, do you use 2 strands of yarn? When you look at the picture, it does not look like it.
21.04.2015 - 09:31DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Stuart-Williams, the slippers are worked with 2 strands held together as just one, remember to check your tension, ie 13 sts x 17 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm. Happy knitting!

Dear Mrs Davies, several tests have been made and the pattern could be printed successfully. There maybe some settings to check. Happy knitting!

Your pattern at the foot dose not work out. Foot 9,11,11 and 29 st. holder. How do I do it. It doesn't work out right.
18.02.2015 - 16:56DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Wright, you keep the first 9 sts in first size and the first 11 sts in 2 largest size on the needle and put the remaining 27 sts in first and 2nd size and 29 sts in largest size onto a stitch holder. The video below should help you to vizualize how to do this. Happy knitting!
