Hi can knit the Pattern for Cozy Slipper Boots on straight needles or circular needles.

Dear Jo, the foot part of these slippers is worked in the round - you can find some help to adjust a pattern into straight needles here - or work in the round with a circular needle using magic loop technique. Happy knitting!

Thank you for your quick response, but I am unsure as to how to distribute the 60 stitches. Do I leave the nine stitches on toe or do I slip some from other needles to distribute them evenly.
08.01.2019 - 16:31DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Peltier, yes you can leave the 9 sts for toe on first needle while distributing other sts on last 4 needles - just as shown in the video (see from time code 1:37). Happy knitting!

Dear Mrs Peltier, you can distribute them on double pointed needles, just remember to add a marker on toe and on mid back. see also our video to these slippers. Happy knitting!

In your pattern, you stated that the 3 sizes would fit within a range of shoe sizes, and I was wondering if those were in women's or men's sizes. Also, I was wondering if these socks are stiff or if they have some give to them. Thank you!
05.12.2018 - 00:36DROPS Design answered:
Dear Abby, the EU sizes are the same for men and women - you can check the foot length to find the matching size. Happy knitting!

Work rib K 1/P 1 in the round until piece measures approx. 10 cm. FOOT: Now keep the first 9-11-11 sts on the round on the needle, slip the remaining 27-27-29 sts on a stitch holder. Insert 1 marker mid front of toe and 1 marker mid back on heel. Continue in the round with rib as before for 2 cm.
