Crochet info-1: Crochet 3 dc tog to 1 dc as follows: Beg 1 dc before dc with marking thread. Work 1 dc, but wait with the last pull-through, work next dc, but wait with the last pull-through (= 3 sts on hook), work next dc and now pull thread through all sts on hook = 2 dc dec. Crochet info-2, applies to Diamond 3 and 4: Replace first dc on row with 1 ch. Bag: Crochet from bottom up with 2 threads Muskat Soft on crochet hook size 4 mm. The bag is made up of 4 diamonds – see Fig1. Diamond 1: Row 1: 3 ch, in first ch work 1 dc + 2 ch (= middle loop) + 1 dc. Finish row with 2 ch, turn piece. Row 2: 1 dc, in middle loop work 1 dc + 2 ch + 1 dc. Finish row with 1 dc, 2 ch, turn piece. Row 3: 2 dc, in middle loop work 1 dc + 2 ch + 1 dc. Finish row with 2 dc, 2 ch, turn piece. Row 4: 3 dc, in middle loop work 1 dc + 2 ch + 1 dc. Finish row with 3 dc, 2 ch, turn piece. Continue like this with inc round middle loop until diamond measures approx 30 cm in the width. Cut the thread and fasten. Diamond 2: Like Diamond 1. Place Diamond 1 on top of Diamond 2 and sew tog the 2 bottom sides – see Fig 1. . Diamond 3: Crochet between Diamond 1 and Diamond 2. Beg at top corner of Diamond 1 and work 1 dc in each st down along the side of Diamond 1. Crochet 1 dc between diamonds and work 1 dc in each st up along the side of Diamond 2. Insert a marking thread (MT) in the dc between the diamonds. See Crochet tip-2. Turn piece and work 1 dc in each dc, at the same time dec 1 dc on each side of dc with MT on every row – see Crochet tip-1 – until there are 9 dc left on row (= strap). Work 1 dc in each dc until strap measures 30 cm. Diamond 4: Like Diamond 3, but at the other side between Diamond 1 and 2. Sew straps tog. |
