Hei! Varmistaisin, miten 6. kerros neulotaan.

---------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN: ---------------------------------------------------------- GARTER STITCH: Knit on all rows, i.e. knit from right side and knit from wrong side. 1 ridge vertically = knit 2 rows. INCREASE 2 STITCHES: All increases are done from the right side! Knit next yarn over and stitch together but wait to slip them off left needle, make 1 yarn over on right needle, knit yarn over and stitch together 1 more time = 3 stitches (= 2 stitches increased). Now slip stitch off left needle. NOTE! On row after increase there are no yarn overs around stitches increased. Work the increased stitches in English rib. DECREASE 2 STITCHES: All decreases are done from the right side! Work until 2nd knit stitch in English rib at the beginning of row. Slip knit stitch (and yarn over) as if to knit together, knit the next purl stitch and knit stitch (and yarn over) together, then slip yarn over and slipped knit stitch over stitches knitted together (= 2 stitches decreased in total). The marker should follow in the 2nd knit stitch in English rib at the beginning of row seen from right side. ---------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ---------------------------------------------------------- SHAWL - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: Piece is worked back and forth tip to tip. Increase and decrease in English rib. SHAWL: Cast on 5-5 stitches on circular needle 3.5 mm with DROPS Merino Extra Fine or DROPS Daisy. Worked back and forth as follows: ROW 1 (= right side): Work 2 stitches in GARTER STITCH - read explanation above, knit 1 and work 2 stitches in garter stitch. ROW 2 (= wrong side): Work 2 stitches in garter stitch, make 1 yarn over, slip 1 stitch purlwise and work 2 stitches in garter stitch. ROW 3 (= right side): Work 2 stitches in garter stitch, knit next yarn over and stitch together and work 2 stitches in garter stitch. ROW 4 (= wrong side): Work 2 stitches in garter stitch, make 1 yarn over, slip 1 stitch purlwise and work 2 stitches in garter stitch. Work as 3rd and 4th ROW until piece measures approx. 4½-4 cm – adjust so that next row is from right side. There is 1-1 knit stitch in English rib (seen from right side). Now increase in the middle stitch, work as follows: ROW 5 (= right side): Work as 3rd ROW but in the middle stitch increase 2 stitches – read INCREASE 2 STITCHES = 7-7 stitches. Remember to follow the knitting tension! ROW 6 (= wrong side): Work 2 stitches in garter stitch, * make 1 yarn over, slip 1 stitch purlwise, knit yarn over and stitch together *, work from *-* until 3 stitches remain, make 1 yarn over, slip 1 stitch purlwise, work 2 stitches in garter stitch. ROW 7 (= right side): Work 2 stitches in garter stitch, * knit next yarn over and stitch together, make 1 yarn over and pass next stitch purlwise *, work from *-* until over 3 stitches remain, knit next yarn over and stitch together, and work 2 stitches in garter stitch. There are 2-2 knit stitches in English rib (seen from right side). Insert a marker in the 2nd knit stitch in English rib seen from right side, marker is used on next increase. Work as 6th and 7th ROW until piece measures approx. 4½-4 cm from previous increase – adjust so that next row is from right side. Now work as follows: ROW 8 (= right side): Work as 7th ROW but in stitch with marker (2nd knit stitch in English rib seen from right side) increase 2 stitches = 9 stitches. ROW 9 (= wrong side): Work as 6th ROW. There are 3-3 knit stitches in English rib (seen from right side). Move marker so that it is in the 2nd knit stitch in English rib seen from right side. Work English rib back and forth as before and repeat increase in the 2nd knit stitch in English rib seen from right side approx. every 4½-4 cm until 15-19 increases have been done in total from beginning of piece = 35-43 stitches. Piece measures approx. 67-76 cm from cast-on edge. There are 16-20 knit stitches in English rib (seen from right side). Work English rib back and forth as before until approx. 8-8 cm have been worked after last increase. Now decrease in the same side of piece where increase was - adjust so that next row is from right side. ROW 10 (= right side): Work as 7th ROW, over the first 4 stitches as before, decrease 2 stitch - read DECREASE 2 STITCHES in explanation above, work the rest of row as before. There are 15-19 knit stitches in English rib (seen from right side). ROW 11 (= wrong side): Work as 6th ROW. Work English rib back and forth as before until piece measures 4½-4 cm from previous decrease. Repeat decrease in the 2nd knit stitch in English rib seen from right side every 4½-4 cm until 14-18 decreases have been done in total = 7-7 stitches. There are 2-2 knit stitches in English rib in the middle of piece (seen from right side). Work English rib back and forth as before until piece measures approx. 4½-4 cm from previous decrease. Now decrease as follows: ROW 12 (= right side): Work 2 stitches in garter stitch, DECREASE 2 STITCHES the same way as before over the next 3 stitches, work 2 stitches in garter stitch = 5-5 stitches. ROW 13 (= wrong side): Work 2 stitches in garter stitch, make 1 yarn over, slip 1 stitch purlwise and work 2 stitches in garter stitch. There is 1-1 knit stitch in English rib (seen from right side).
