Hei!

Bon tricot!

---------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN: ---------------------------------------------------------- GARTER STITCH (back and forth): 1 ridge = knit 2 rows. ---------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ---------------------------------------------------------- WRIST WARMERS - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE GARMENT: Work piece back and forth on double pointed needles. WRIST WARMERS: Cast on 20-20-22 stitches on double pointed needles size 3.5 mm with silver fox. Leave all stitches on one double pointed needle. Work 1 ridge in GARTER STITCH - read explanation above. Switch to light pearl grey and work as follows: ROW 1 (= right side): Knit until 1 stitch remains on needle, work 2 stitches in next stitch (i.e. knit in front and back loop of stitch), pick up 1 stitch at the top of ridge, continue to work with another double pointed needle on the other side along cast-on edge as follows: work 2 stitches in first stitch, work 1 stitch in each of the next 19-19-21 stitches = 43-43-47 stitches. ROW 2: Knit all stitches. Insert a marker thread in 21st-21st-23rd stitch and 23rd-23rd-25th stitch. Slip stitches on 3 double pointed needles so that the outermost 19-19-21 stitches in each side is on their own double pointed needle and the middle 5-5-5 stitches on a double pointed needle. Then increase on each side of these 2 stitches. ROW 3: Switch to silver fox. Knit all stitches, at the same time on each side of stitches with marker threads make 1 yarn over (= 47-47-51 stitches). ROW 4: Knit all stitches, always knit yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. ROW 5: Switch to light pearl grey. Knit all stitches, at the same time on each side of stitches with marker threads make 1 yarn over (= 51-51-55 stitches). ROW 6: Knit all stitches, always knit yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Repeat 3rd-6th row. For every increase there will be 2 stitches more between the 2 stitches with marker thread. When there are 35-39-43 stitches between stitches with marker thread cast off by knitting from wrong side. Fold piece in 2 to fold along cast-on edge. Sew together in the side from bottom of wrist warmer and 10-10-11 cm upwards, sew in one and one stitch in cast-off edge. Fasten off. Skip 6-7-7 cm (2 cm remain at the top of wrist warmer) sew one and one stitch together in cast-off edge. |
