I am wondering if this would look as nice in Drops Air? It is also a "C" yarn but so far I have only made sweaters with Air. I have lots of Drops Air in my stash. Love the yarn! Thanks for any advice.

Dear Myrna, yes, you could use Air. Make sure that the gauge matches the one indicated. Happy knitting!

Working Row 2, I ended up with 6 extra stitches and I don’t understand why. Had to undo it all :( Any idea? I am new to knitting.

Dear Emma, I don't know, how you ended up with 6 extra stitches (especially since you do not mention which size you are making), but I would suggest that checking the number of stitches double when you cast on, and after the edge put a marker in every 14th stitch. You should have 12-14-17 markers / little 14 stitch sections. When knitting the 1st row of the pattern, make sure, each sections starts with a purl stitch, and have 13 knit stitch aftervards. Then you can put a different colored marker into the middle stitch of each 13 stitch section (into the 7th stitch), which mark the middle of the double decrease. Happy Knitting!

Comment passe-t-on de 14 mailles à 8 mailles ? Où et comment fait-on les diminutions ?
02.04.2021 - 23:46DROPS Design answered:

Also alle 14 Maschen wieder vorne anfange?
22.09.2019 - 20:56DROPS Design answered:
