In pattern 41-9 what do I need the crochet hook for ? Also how do I deal with changing the colours almost every row when the wool is left at the other side ?

Dear Geraldine, this is an old pattern, so it may have been updated before posting it online and it seems it no longer needs a crochet hook. For colour changing, you can make smaller balls of yarn of different colours that you will use to work on each side; the yarn ends can be hidden when sewing the piece later on. Happy knitting!

Spm.

Bon tricot!

The pattern asks for 150g (3 balls) of the color #36 blue for size 3/4, while the green color #16 yarn is used at least three times as much, and only 50g of it is asked for. Could there have been a mix-up on the color pattern for the child jersey? I bought the amount of yarn requested, and will switch the green for the blue. Thanks, you do such a great job!

Dear Barbara, you are correct, diagram symbols were swapped, it is not correct. Thank you!
