Husk at holde den strikkefasthed som står i opskriften, for at få størrelsen ifølge opskriften :)

This is for size large when at the very first start it says purl1 then *knit 2, Purl 2* until the last 3 stitches knit 2, purl 1 the last 4 stitches are knit 2, purl 1,knit 1 (this is hat I did) Is there a mistake or is it me???
14.11.2022 - 07:00DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Roberts, work as follows: P1, repeat (K2, P2) a total of 47 times (over the next 188 sts), 3 sts remain, work now K2, P1 (= 1+188+2+1= 192 sts) so that you are working in rib K2, P2 but starting and ending round with P1. Happy knitting!

There is a mistake in the English version of this pattern. Where it reads: "When piece measures 23-25-27-29 cm mid front, increase 2 stitches front and back – READ INCREASE TIP. Repeat increase every 4 cm a total of 10 times " According to the Norwegian pattern, the increases should be repeated every 4 rounds, not every 4 cm. The same error is found in many other translations. (nl, it, pl, fr, etc.)
08.10.2022 - 12:46DROPS Design answered:
Dear Rea, yes, there seems to be a mistake in the translation, you need to repeat the increase every 4th round. We will correct it as soon as possible. Thank you.

---------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN: ---------------------------------------------------------- INCREASE TIP: Increase 1 stitch on each side of every marker as follows: Work until 1 stitch remains before marker, make 1 yarn over, knit 2 stitches (marker is between these 2 stitches), make 1 yarn over. On next round knit yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. ---------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ---------------------------------------------------------- SHORTS – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: Worked top down in the round on circular needle. SHORTS: Cast on 168-192-216-240 stitches on circular needle size 3 mm with DROPS Fabel. Insert 1 marker at beginning of round (= mid back) and 1 marker after 84-96-108-120 stitches (= mid front). Work rib from mid back as follows: SIZE XS/S and L/XL: Purl 1, * knit 2, purl 2 *, work from *-* until 3 stitches remain, finish with knit 2 and purl 1. SIZE M and XXL/XXXL: Knit 1, * purl 2, knit 2 *, repeat from *-* until 3 stitches remain, finish with purl 2 and knit 1. ALL SIZES: When piece measures 5 cm, work an elevation at the back as follows: Work 11 stitches rib, turn and tighten yarn. Work 22 stitches rib, turn, tighten yarn and work 32 stitches rib. Continue like this by working 10 stitches more on every turn until a total of 122-122-142-142 stitches have been worked. Turn one last time to get on the right side of piece. Work until marker mid back (beginning of round). Continue with rib in the round until piece measures 20-22-24-26 cm (measured mid front). Switch to circular needle size 3.5 mm and work as follows: 27-33-39-45 stitches in stocking stitch, 30 stitches rib as before, 54-66-78-90 stitches in stocking stitch, 30 stitches rib as before and 27-33-39-45 stitches stocking stitch. When piece measures 23-25-27-29 cm mid front, increase 2 stitches front and back – READ INCREASE TIP. Repeat increase every 4th round a total of 10 times – work the increased stitches in stocking stitch = 208-232-256-280 stitches. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Work until piece measures 35-37-39-41 cm (measured mid front). Begin mid back and cast off the first 8-8-10-10 stitches, work the next 88-100-108-120 stitches and slip them on a thread (leg), work the next 16-16-20-20 stitches and keep them on the needle (gusset), work the next 88-100-108-120 stitches and slip them on a thread (leg), cast off the last 8-8-10-10 stitches, cut the yarn. GUSSET: Work in stocking stitch back and forth over 16-16-20 20 stitches on the needle for 11-12-13-14 cm. Cast off. Sew cast-off edge to the 16-16-20-20 stitches cast off mid back. RIGHT LEG: Slip the 88-100-108-120 stitches from the thread in the right side on a short circular needle size 3.5 mm. Knit in addition up 24-28-32-32 stitches along one side of the gusset = 112-128-140-152 stitches. Then work rib over the 30 stitches in the side as before, work the remaining stitches in stocking stitch. Work like this until leg measures 12 cm. Switch to a short circular needle size 3 mm and work rib (knit 2/purl 2) over all stitches - make sure that rib continues as before over the 30 stitches in the side. Work rib like this for 9 cm, then cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl. Leg measures 21 cm. LEFT LEG: Slip stitches from the other thread back on needle and work as first leg. |
