Do you have these instructions written out? I don't know how to follow a chart.
12.12.2018 - 02:29DROPS Design answered:
Hi Leslie, I am afraid we don't have written instructions for this pattern. If you would like to try working from the chart, you begin bottom right and work to the left along the round, then begin on row 2 from the right again when working in the round; or from the left if working back and forth. The symbols represent different stitches as described in the key. Happy knitting!

Witaj Zosiu!

Powodzenia!

Your pattern is great but i have a question about it. in the hat part, when i finish the a.1 diagrm it measure 9 cm, but how i make it a 17 cm to go the a.2 diagram?!
25.10.2018 - 14:34DROPS Design answered:
Dear Nidaa95, after A.1 has been worked, there are 90 sts (= each A.1 = 15 sts). Work now A.2 (= 15 sts) over each A.1 = 6 times in the round. After A.2 has been worked, piece should measure 17 cm from cast on edge. Happy knitting!

Hva betyr: M1 skal strikkes 1 gang i høyden? Hvor mange omganger skal man strikke da?
13.10.2018 - 00:07DROPS Design answered:
Hei Siri.

EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 and A.2. Choose diagram for your size. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- HAT - SHORT SUMMARY OF THE WORK: The hat is worked in the round with circular needle. Change to double pointed needles when necessary. HAT: Cast on 96-108 stitches with circular needle size 4.5 mm and 1 strand Lima and 1 strand Kid-Silk (= 2 strands). Work A.1 (= 16-18 stitches) a total of 6 times in width. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When A.1 has been worked 1 time in height there are 90-102 stitches on the needle. The piece measures approx. 9-10 cm. Continue in stocking stitch. When the piece measures 17-18 cm from the cast-on edge, work A.2 (= 15-17 stitches) a total of 6 times in width. When A.2 has been worked 1 time in height there are 36 stitches on the needle. Work all stitches together 2 and 2 = 18 stitches. Work all stitches together 2 and 2 = 9 stitches. Cut the strands, pull them through the remaining stitches, tighten the strands and fasten well. The hat measures approx. 26-28 cm from the top down. ------------------------------------------------------- NECK WARMER - SHORT SUMMARY OF THE WORK: The piece is worked in the round with circular needle. You first work a displacement in the rib, then work stocking stitch before finishing with rib. NECK WARMER: Cast on 128-144 stitches with circular needle size 4.5 mm and 1 strand Lima and 1 strand Kid-Silk (= 2 strands). Work A.1 (= 16-18 stitches) a total of 8 times in width. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When A.1 has been worked 1 time in height there are 120-136 stitches on the needle. The piece measures approx. 9-10 cm. Continue in stocking stitch. When the piece measures 22-24 cm from the cast-on edge, increase 22-24 stitches evenly on round (i.e. increase by making 1 yarn over after alternately every 5th and 6th stitch) = 142-160 stitches. The yarn overs are worked twisted on the next round to avoid holes! Work rib (= knit 1 twisted, purl 1). Cast off while working knit twisted over knit twisted and purl over purl when the piece measures 26-28 cm from the cast-on edge. |
