I am wondering if I understand pattern correctly, because why wouldn't I just kitchener the live stitches together after folding in half instead of binding off and sewing? Will it work to kitchener?
19.03.2021 - 04:02DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Lowell, you can either cast off and sew stitches together or graft them/kitchener the live stitches together. Happy assembly!

I am having trouble understanding this pattern. The first round is understandable but as for round 2, I am confused. Do I purl together the YO and 1st slipped stitch? As I am writing this, I think I understand now. Will continue on! ROUND 1: * 1 YO, slip 1 st as if to P, K 1 *, repeat from *-*. ROUND 2: * P tog YO and slipped st, 1 YO, slip 1 st as if to P *, repeat from *-*. ROUND 3: * 1 YO, slip 1 st as if to P, K tog YO and slipped st *, repeat from *-*.

Dear Mrs Pearsall, round 1 will be worked only once, then you will repeat row 2 and 3 - see also video below. Happy knitting!
