Witam.
Pozdrawiamy!

When you say k2 and 3 garter stitches. Do you mean k5
01.02.2019 - 19:22DROPS Design answered:
Dear Tery, you will finish this row on neck warmer with K5 from RS, but the K2 belong to the rib and will be P from WS. Happy knitting!

Hi. I’m currently knitting your neck warmer and I got to the point where my piece measures 11cm and I’m starting the rib. Your instructions say to do 3 garter stitches and then rib k2, p2 until 5sts remain then k2 and 3 garter stitches. Are the garter stitches just knit? Thanks for your help. Regards, Agnieszka
12.10.2017 - 15:25DROPS Design answered:
Dear Agnieszka, yes the garter sts will be knitted on each row, ie you will have K3 at the beg and end of each row, and rib K2/P2 between these 3 sts. Happy knitting!

HAT: GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows. NEW BALL TIP: When changing to a new ball, split the thread ends, moisten and twist them. -------------------------------------------------------- HAT: Worked back and forth on circular needle. Leave approx 40 cm thread end when casting on, use this for sewing hat tog afterwards. Cast on 34-38 sts on circular needle size 10 mm with Polaris. Work GARTER ST - see above – until piece measures 9 cm. Now continue in stocking st with 1 garter st each side. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! See NEW BALL TIP! When piece measures 21-23 cm insert 6 markers in piece as follows from RS: first marker after 4th-3rd st and then 1 marker after every 5th-6th st = 5-5 sts left after the last marker. On next row from RS dec 1 st to the left of all markers by K2 tog (= 6 dec sts per row). Repeat the dec on every other row a total of 3 times = 16-20 sts left on needle. Piece measures approx 28-30 cm. Cut the thread, pull through remaining sts, tighten and fasten. Use thread end from beg to sew hat tog, edge to edge. -------------------------------------------------------- NECK WARMER: GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows. Continue in GARTER ST – see above. When piece measures 3 cm dec 1 st to the right of all markers by K2 tog (= 9 dec sts per row). Repeat the dec to the left and to the right alternately of all markers on every other row a total of 5 times = 40 sts. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! See NEW BALL TIP! When piece measures 11 cm continue in rib on next row from RS as follows: 3 garter sts, rib K2/P2 until 5 sts remain, finish with K2, and 3 garter sts. Continue in rib and garter st until piece measures 24 cm. Cast off with K over K and P over P. Sew the 3 buttons to left front band: 3, 9 and 15 cm from the top.
