CROCHET INFO: Turn piece with 1 ch. DECREASING TIP: Dec 1 dc at the end of row by turning piece when 1 dc remain. INCREASING TIP: Inc 1 dc by working 2 dc in last but one dc. --------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------- SLIPPER: Worked back and forth from toe towards the heel, and sewn tog mid upper foot afterwards. Work 5 ch (includes 1 ch to turn with) with crochet hook size 6 mm and lime (leave approx 30 cm thread and use this to sew tog the slipper afterwards) ROW 1: 2 dc in each of the last 4 ch = 8 dc – SEE CROCHET INFO! ROW 2: 2 dc in each dc = 16 dc. ROW 3: * 1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* = 24 dc. Inc are now complete for the smaller sizes. SIZE 38/40: ROW 4: 1 dc in each dc, at the same time inc 3 dc evenly on row = 27 dc. SIZE 41/43: ROW 4: * 1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* = 30 dc. ALL SIZES: Continue with 1 dc in each dc until piece measures 8-9-10 cm. Now dec 1 dc each side at the end of every row – SEE DECREASING TIP, and repeat the dec a total of 2-3-3 times = 20-21-24 dc. Continue with 1 dc in each dc until piece measures 15-18-20 cm. Now inc 1 dc each side at the end of every row – SEE INCREASING TIP – and repeat the inc a total of 2 times = 24-25-28 dc. When piece measures 22-24-27 cm fold it double and crochet tog mid back with a row of sl sts through both layers. Cut the thread and fasten. Tighten slipper at the top and sew tog mid upper foot – edge to edge to avoid a chunky seam, to where dec beg. Crochet a row of dc with sapphire mix round the opening of slipper. STRAP: Crochet 1 dc in row of dc round opening at one side (in approx 8th dc from seam mid front), crochet a ch loop measuring approx 18 cm and attach with a sl st in first dc. Sew on a button the other side. |
