Dear Mrs MacMahon, when hat measures 4 3/4 inch, you continue with 1 edge st, P4, *K2, P6* repeat from *-* and finish with K2, P2, 1 edge st until piece measures 9" from cast on row. Happy knitting!

Als ik dit brei in elke naald krijg ik niet hetzelfde resultaat, hoe hebben anderen dat gedaan. Moet de rechte steek van de voorkant dan op de averechte kant niet averecht. Ik krijg anders zo'n raar geval. Help me alsjeblieft !! Vind het patroon zo mooi !!

Knitting tension: 11 sts x 15 rows moss stitch = 10 x 10 cm Pattern: See diagram M.1 to M.3. Diagrams are seen from RS. Garter st: Knit all rows back and forth on needle. Scarf: Remember knitting tension! Cast on 28 sts on needle size 8 mm with Snow. Knit 8 rounds garter sts – see explanation above. Continue with 4 sts on each side in garter sts until complete measurement, knit remaining sts as follows: * 8 cm stocking sts, M.1 once in height, 4 cm stocking sts, 4 rows garter sts, 6 cm M.2, 4 rows garter sts, 4 cm stocking sts, 4 rows garter sts, M.3 once in height and then 8 rows garter sts *, repeat from *-* 4 times in total. Finish off with 8 rows garter sts over all sts, cast off. HAT Knitting tension: 11 sts x 15 rows stocking sts = 10 x 10 cm Hat: Knit piece back and forth on circular needles. Cast on 58 sts (incl 1 edge sts on each side) on needle size 8 mm with 2 threads Snow. Remember knitting tension! Remove the one thread and knit stocking sts until piece measures 6 cm. Knit next row as follows: 1 edge st, * K4, P3 * repeat from *-* and finish with 1 edge st. On next row inc all 3 P to 4 P = 66 sts. Continue Rib until piece measures 12 cm. Now knit next row as follows: 1 edge st, P4 * K2, P6 * repeat from *-* and finish off with K2, P2 and 1 edge st. Knit until piece measures approx 23 cm. Now, dec all 6 P to 5 P = 58 sts. (NOTE! First 4 and last 2 P sts is considered 1 P-part, so dec of 1 sts should also be done here). When piece measures 24 cm dec 2 sts on each P-part on every other row 3 times in total = 10 sts. Pull thread through 10 sts and sew tog (on side) within 1 edge sts. Hat measures approx 27 cm. Pompom: Make a large pompom, approx 13 cm in diameter and sew onto top of hat. |
