Hej Ulrika.

Mvh Kenneth ulbeck pedersen

DROPS scarf with a hood knitted with Moss stitches in ”Snow”.

|
Knitting tension: 9 sts x 12 rows in moss stitches = 10 x 10 cm. Garter sts: Knit back and forth on all rows. Moss stitches: 1st row: * K1, P1 *, repeat from *-*. 2nd row: K over P and P over K Repeat 2nd row. Scarf: Remember the knitting tension! Cast on 22 sts on needle size 10 mm with middle grey. Knit in garter sts for 7 cm - see explanation above. Continue with Moss sts - see explanation above – until the piece measures 147 cm or the length you wish. Now knit 7 cm of garter sts = 154 cm. Cast off. Hood: Cast on 56 sts on needle size 10 mm with middle grey. Knit 2 rows of garter sts. Continue with Moss stitches until the piece measures 32 cm. Cast off in Moss sts. Bend the hood double and sew it tog. at the top. Bend an edge of approx. 6 cm, so the hood is double at the front edge. Sew it with small sts to keep the edge in place. Assembly: Sew the hood tight to the outer edge of the middle of the top of the long side of the scarf. Belt: Make 6 threads of each colour approx. 3,5 meters long = 18 threads. Make a knot at one end, but leave approx. 15 cm thread open for a tassel. Separate the threads into 3 parts (2 threads of each colour in each part) and make a plait. Make a knot when approx. 15 cm of thread left for a tassel at the other end. The scarf can be used as a vest without any back. Tight the belt 2 times around the waist as shown on the picture. |
