Bon tricot!

I found a knitting pattern that I am confused bc the instructions says for front piece 5 st for garter then 31 sts in stockinette st, then explanation of A1, A3 A2 then A3, A1, 31 sts in stockinette st, then 5 st in garter doesn't equal the cast on of 134?
14.04.2018 - 02:20DROPS Design answered:
Dear Theresa, you will work the 134 sts as follows: 5 sts in garter st, 31 sts in stocking st, A.1 (= 13 sts), A.3 (= 6 sts), A.2 (= 24 sts), A.3, A.1, 31 in stocking st, 5 sts in garter st= 5 + 31 + 13 + 6 + 24 + 6 + 13 + 31 + 5 = 134 sts. Happy knitting!

I bought 9 balls of the wool but after knitting not even half (small) I've run out of wool. Are you sure 450g is correct? Frida
08.12.2015 - 21:16DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Olsson, did you check and keep the tension of 17 sts x 22 rows in stocking = 10 x 10 cm? 9 Balls DROPS Big Merino should be enough with this tension in 1st size.
